Booked a viewing for a property with a chap named Adam. The property then got marked listed as sold on RightMove. I was not called, not informed, not updated. If I had not seen it on RightMove as sold I would have traveled an hour for a viewing that had been cancelled without being informed. Literally the most basic function of an estate agent is to manage viewings and they failed at this. I spoke to a very kind woman on the phone who apologised, but God knows what they would fail at if I was under offer with them.

Declining service

Declining service. I’ve used FJL whilst leasing multiple properties. However in my last tenancy I had a major leak which took a year to fix.Since leaving this property I’m still waiting over a month for a return of deposit. They are quick to take you’re money not so quick to return. I had received good service at one point but found it’s declined over recent years. Give you’re money to someone else

It’s a nightmare!

It’s a nightmare! First of all we had an horrible experience with them when we moved in our tenancy!the house was in terrible condition(different than when we viewed) and we had to pay to repair the issues as they were ignoring us!same happened throughout the 2 years tenancy that was managed by them. Now we ended our tenancy more than a month ago and we haven’t received our deposit back yet!they are not replying to email or phone calls!Stay away if you want to preserve your mental health! Never seen such a bad agency in UK

Trapped me in my tenancy illegally and caused a mental breakdown

I wanted to sever my half of a tenancy and despite the landlord being OK with it; they first said that it can't happen and then with a little more interrogation they made up all these bullsh*t rules about how the total household income had to be over £50k or guarantors incomes over £64k - information that was never even mentioned before and more importantly didn't apply to me and my roommate, who were two students who clearly didn't make that much in a yearWith the extreme rents they charged me, as a student I couldn't take it and was hospitalised.It didn't help that I was pressured into the letting to begin with.Horrible Lettings.

Avoid!

I have been letting my flat in the Greenwich area through this branch for years. Sadly, the recent experience is very disappointing, to say the least.1) for over four months, they did not refund fees after tenants moved out early, despite confirming it would be processed 2) they charged me with costs which contractually should be assigned to tenants (cleaning the flat)3) They charged erroneous fees for new tenancy, refused to explain where they came from and did not refund the difference.4) additionally, they informed me of non-payment of rent despite FJL receiving it, causing distress to tenants and myself.

Poor experience letting my flat out

Used FJ Lord to let out my flat. Nothing seemed to happen unless I chased the agent. I was there for some viewings. Some of the agents were fine but some hardly spoke english and their body language and demeanour made it seem like he was embarrassed to be marketing the flat. (it is a very nice flat). Worst of all, I could not rely on information from the agent. She would make a statement and when I later tried to find verification in their documentation she would have to admit that it was not there. The amusing part was that the agent said "We are working very hard to let your flat". The flat was a very short walk from their office and all that they did without prompting was place an advert on Rightmove and charge me nearly £3,000. A frustrating and stressful experience. I will not be using them again.
