GoogleWe got in touch with D&G when we started our house search. Alex actually showed us our first ever house, and I found it great to have an agent who genuinely took time out for us, wasn’t pushy/needlessly salesy and actually understood our requirements. As we communicated what we were looking for to Alex, the listings he shared with me genuinely got increasingly relevant, to the point where every single email we got from him resulted in another viewing! It’s a huge help that Alex is a Putney local, so is able to point out local attractions and amenities.

GoogleLuke Thatcher helped me and my partner find our ideal property to let. From the second I stepped into Douglas and Gordon he was so welcoming and when I enquired about one property he kindly agreed to arrange a viewing for as soon as possible plus he told me of another property he thought would be perfect for us.... and it was! We jumped on the flat immediately and from that moment Luke was approachable, easy to contact, quick to respond and truly fantastic as a contact at Douglas and Gordon! I could not recommend him enough as a letting agent!

GoogleI wanted to take the opportunity to share how impressed I was based on my experience with Sophie Allin today. (We had communicated by telephone a couple times prior, and I had a good feeling from the offset.) Sophie was prepared, highly informed about the properties she showed me, and accommodating to both my schedule and assisting with transport between properties. But more than these somewhat generic qualities one hopes for in an agent, what made for the better experience was Sophie’s interest in garnering the best possible understanding of the right property fit for me as an individual. She listened and asked very probing questions about what I was seeking from a property to make a home. Sophie was also very transparent in managing my expectations, which is invaluable in gaining trust, and making the experience as enjoyable as possible, (considering how stressful these situations more often than not tend to be). She was also patient in giving me time with each room as I envisioned how I could make a property my home - she never rushed me, or applied disingenuous pressure with useless fluff commentary. My experience with Sophie has changed my perspective of leasing agents and the reputation they quite often acquire. I hope that this is representative of the overall D&G experience.

GoogleIn connection with our relocation to London, my husband and I engaged the services of Douglas & Gordon, East Putney. We initially contacted them to look at property to buy in the Putney area. And a month later, when we decide to rent first, we contacted them again. Our initial contact and viewing with Hattie Young in D & G sales department was really outstanding. We had just arrived from Paris and was running incredibly late for our viewing on a late Saturday afternoon. Hattie was however, very nice and patient. As the viewing with her was the first viewing for us in London, Hattie gave us lots of really good advice. We were very impressed. So when we decided to rent first and purchase later, it was natural for us to continue with D & G. Sophie Allin became our letting adviser. Because of Hattie, we expected outstanding service from D & G and Sophie did not disappoint. She was really patient, friendly and listened to our needs. In doing so, she managed to arranged a good selection of properties for us to view. We would certainly engage the service of D & G (Putney) again. Patricia and Andrew
