I reached out to Douglas & Gordon while searching for a place to rent in London, and that’s how I came across Max. He was passionate about what he did, bubbly, patient, reliable, very responsive, and very insightful. He always made sure to show us properties that matched our criteria, and he took the time to understand what we liked and didn’t like in each viewing so he could adapt accordingly. Every home visit felt personal, with our feedback genuinely taken on board. His advice was always thorough, and it’s clear how much he enjoys what he does. Even when I had a question outside of our viewings, he responded kindly and thoroughly, which was really helpful at the time. I feel really sorry to say this but I had a terrible experience with them. There were many issues with the house such as a common electric meter which surged up our everyday bills. There is a constant issue of floor leak which we heard from the neighbours. Door lock was broken, door buzzer was gone. We had to move in a hurry so we couldn't check any of these. And the agent didn't bother to tell us anything. Even the whole paper work was delayed and it took several phone calls to get clarity. Please be careful everyone.

We rent a property from this agency and the property got a lot of issues and repairs that are needed to be done but the property manager here who was handling it was very unprofessional and rude. Think twice before letting a property or even buying as they do not checked and throughly inspect the property before renting it and the tenants suffers.

Nick and his team were sensational from the first meeting to handing over all sets of keys on completion of our sale. Nick and his team are the experts for flats, in particular, in East Putney and their book of clients are those who know what they want from what East Putney offers, especially families look for super schools; impeccable outdoor space in the local parks and overall wonderful community feel. Whilst some estate agents rely on either an overly positive or indeed muted initial assessment, Nick and his team struck the best balance of being bold, but realistic to what the market would bear. Selling and buying houses is often never easy (or pleasant) - Nick's humour; tenacity and pragmatic view to get all over the line as agreed in principle is first class. Our experience with Douglas & Gordon was amazing!! I arrange our viewing with James who was great - he managed to get us the day/time we wanted. We then dealt with Ella who was amazing to say the least. She showed us round the property & we felt no pressure from her at all which can sometimes be what you feel with estate agents. She was super nice and chatty, really taking an interest in us which made the experience feel very personal. When we went to the office and decided we wanted to make an offer she made us feel relaxed and gave the best advice. Everyone we have dealt with from Douglas and Gordon via email/text/in person has been amazing. They stay in constant contact, answering any questions you have and helping with anything you need.
