Being a first-time renter, working with Douglas & Gordon has been an extremely pleasant experience. I personally worked closely with Urszula Truchan. My flatmate and I were having trouble looking for a flat in London, as we are both originally from North America. Up until I came into contact with Douglas & Gordon, no real estate agency had been very interested in helping my friend and I with our unique situation. Urszula quickly turned our frustration around, generously giving us a tour of the flat that we were interested in over FaceTime. She was quick to answer questions, and really made the entire process smooth. Not only was she helpful, I felt that she went above and beyond to help my friend and I secure a flat that we were excited about! I will definitely be recommending this agency to others, and will most certainly keep them in mind for future endeavors.

Ed has been part of my life for over a year now! I will miss our weekly catch-ups on Fridays and the many calls where he had to talk me down from walking away from what is ultimately the only flat I have ever really wanted. I've not been the most easy going buyer, but Ed was patient, professional and knew when all I needed was cheering up or being taken back to the property that I had fallen in love with. It has been a long and hard slog, but so worth it and I wouldn't have been able to make it through (with my sanity intact at least) if it hadn't been for Ed.

I have never come across SUCH extraordinarily kind, helpful and efficient Estate Agents in all my long life! Not only does the particular agent with whom one is dealing, always answer her telephone or mobile, in my case, Henny Irwin, but always actually immediately sorts out the problem, explains and reassures one but the entire office are also able to help and all seem to know the answers, whereas the normal reaction is "oh, so and so is "away from their desk, or on holiday, or moved branch, " but no help or advice is ever given. It is totally the Opposite with Doublas and Gordon, and when my property suddenly became vacant and I needed to find a new tenant at a really bad time of year, within three days Douglas and Gordon had sent a photographer who had all good photographs ready for the weekend market, three days later, but from that weekend, they had got six viewings from which two made firm offers immediately, several hundred more per calendar month than the previous estate agent, who cannot really be blamed as the rental market crashed straight after June 23, 2016, on the UK decision to leave the EU (disastrous for the Economy of course and still is) whatever Jacob Rees Mogg says. anyway, Douglas and Gordon, against all the odds and specially Henny Irwin, did an outstanding job and still are!!!!!!!!!!

My family were returning from Singapore and we were looking for a one month let, at short notice. Our first agent proved unresponsive and failed to return our calls - it turned out he was leaving the office, but hadn't told us or passed on our offer to the landlord. With time running out we contacted Sian-Louise at D&G in Putney. She was straight on the case and very quickly contacted the landlord and updated us on the situation. She was responsive, understanding and efficient. Would definitely go to her for help with our property needs again.
