I would definitely recommend Dexters Notting Hill as I found my apartment through them. Once I found the flat they got my offer approved by the landlord less than an hour later while another agency made me wait more than 24 hours to get back to me. They are very professional and effective. The process was fast and quite smooth thanks to Matthew Huybrechts and Patrick Kiefer.

Very disappointing experience with Dexters. My assigned agent, Caeal, was slow, unresponsive, and unhelpful. Ongoing issues in the property were ignored for weeks, and I was left to resolve them myself. Poor communication and no accountability.

I have used Dexters Notting Hill for many years and have found them to be friendly and helpful, providing a high quality of tenants and service. The have read the market well, even securing some lovely tenants during the pandemic, when many other landlords had voids. I have recently changed to using their Managed Tenancy service and have had a great deal of help from Dhirren and his colleague Amanda in this department. The minor details which needed sorting out between tenancies have been no trouble for him and he has made sure to update me when requiring any answers and to return my calls promptly. As this is my first experience of using Dexters to manage a let, I hope that I continue to receive the high level of service which I've experienced so far. Jan '24 Just wanted to add an addenda - I've just had Dexters rental team of Howard, Tom and their colleagues find me new tenants. They have again gone above and beyond to help me sort out some essential maintenance against a tight deadline spanning the Christmas period and ensure all is ready for the new letting.

Bad experience. One of the male agent was very pushy and made me feel uncomfortable. For example, when I turned down his suggestion, he insisted I do it his way. When I refused again, he asked me, "Why?" He was very aggressive, which made me feel annoyed. Sometimes no means no, and I don't owe you an explanation. After this call, I won't be working with Dexters anymore.

DO NOT WORK WITH DEXTERS NOTTING HILL, DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE If I could leave zero stars, I would. Firstly, I was misled during the viewing by the agent Cael, who assured me I could move in on the 22nd, a date that aligned perfectly with my current tenancy ending. After my offer was accepted and I paid the holding deposit, I was informed that I couldn’t move in until the 28th. While frustrated, I still agreed to proceed. I promptly paid the full five-week deposit and signed the contract. However, two weeks before the agreed move-in date, I began receiving persistent calls from another agent, Carly, insisting I pay the first month’s rent immediately. In my experience, this is typically paid once the property is vacant, prepared, and a few days before key collection. I explained it would be paid in good time before the move-in date. Despite this, four days later, on a Saturday, she called to inform me that my contract had been voided and the landlord had pulled out. I was told that, apparently, a landlord has the right to cancel the agreement 15 days after the contract is signed. However, my contract was signed on the 6th of May and voided on the 17th, just 11 days later. I requested to speak with the so-called "manager", Ellie, who bluntly stated, “We have to protect our client.” When I pointed out that I too was a client, she responded, “No, the landlord is our client. You are just a customer.” I was genuinely shocked. I had already given notice to my previous landlord and paid for temporary Airbnb accommodation to facilitate the move, only to be left out of pocket and effectively homeless.
