Friendliest and most genuine estate agent staff I have dealt with in my property search. Both Lewis and Chloe were so helpful, no-nonsense, and very easy to talk to. Lewis was more than happy to wait for my partner to show up late to a viewing, and he got back to us within a day on some questions we had for a landlord. Highly recommend. 10/10

Renting an apartment from Dexter's was truly a horror show from start to finish. Without getting into all of the details here (but I will on TrustPilot), this is not a suitable letting agency if you are not from the UK. Every step in the verification process had to be escalated to some "director" to approve e.g. if you don't have 3 UK payslips (which, if you are moving from abroad, you will not) or if you are unable to provide a direct company phone number to confirm employment because they don't seem to trust employment verification letters - large companies in 2024 typically don't have a front desk you can just call. To add insult to injury, they use a system that does not allow their agents to reply to existing email threads, so I have about 48 separate threads with this organization. These things dragged out the agreement process for weeks on end. Despite having all of this extra time before the move-in date, the apartment was not left as agreed, had no heat or hot water, and was not properly cleaned. When I went to the office the next morning, they did not have the correct property manager information - the phone number they had, I kid you not, went to a restaurant. Between the shoddy record keeping, Kafka-esque vetting processes and lack of attention to any detail leading to the move-in, I would not recommend to anyone who is transferring to London.
