Dexter was the estate agent for the landlord of our flat and from the outset to the end they kept the owner’s interest at heart without any regard or care for us as the tenants. Throughout our stay at the flat for two years Dexters agents ( we dealt with so many of them because if high turnover) did not give us the service we deserved and always sided with the owner who did not want to spend for essential repair and we always ended up paying for the repairs which were his sole responsibility. A very old flat from 1930’s with rundown stuff such as crooked windows or cracked kitchen floor or unlocking bathroom doors which the frugal owner did not want to fix and Dexters did not do much to help us perhaps because they were getting their fee from the owner and had to do his bidding. In any case we really cared for the flat throughout our stay from 2018 to 2020. The last straw was the long check out process and the daily headaches of phone calls from the Property Management authority with demands for compensation of some nitty gritty stuff. To make a long story short the owner ended up taking a sizable portion of our security deposit. This was almost equal to the cost of a dishwasher which he was forced to buy during the second year of our stay there. In other words we almost paid for his flat renovation. Hold your hats! this was not the end of the saga: Just before sending the final check we received another phone call from the Property Management saying your cleaning of the flat was not to our standard and there is a need for top up cleaning which cost us 120 GBP. This despite the fact that we had already paid a reputable company to clean the flat. In conclusion, I want to say that using Dexters and dealing with this landlord was a regrettable experience and wish it never happen again.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I have been through the renting process for many years now and have met many estate agents; however, none have been quite so kind and professional as Niomi (hope I've spelt that correctly)! She was responsive and efficient and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I stupidly got lost on the way to the viewing yesterday and left my car very far and unfortunately, due to the 33°c heat and the fact that I have a paralysed stomach so extremely prone to dehydration, I didn't think I could walk back in time and more importantly- safely- to get to the next viewing with Niomi. She very kindly offered to drop me off to my car, instead of me walking for 15 min in the heat. Most people would not have offered, especially during this time of Covid. I really do appreciate it and it shows a lot of sensitivity to clients with different needs. Thank you Niomi , you really did make a difference for me that day.

A strong Five Stars. Simon Avigdor and his team have pulled the impossible. We had six weeks to sell our property on the hill before relocating overseas. We were on the market within days and had viewings rapidly. They found some buyerS and as a result we had offers above market price, Again many thanks. I will also like to add that we have meet with some other agents regarded as very polished and they told us that our properties should be marked less that what we thought it was worth. We did not listen to those agents that were more interested in a quick sale. At the end, as previously mentioned we got above and beyond our expectations. Had a generally positive experience dealing with Dexters when buying a property in the area. Aiden was friendly and courteous, took on board our feedback and we found a property that exceeded our expectations. He provided some good vendor suggestions when going through the sales process. Tal was very good at dealing with some tricky negotiations. I felt more transparency from the start about the Sellers position would have made things go a bit smoother and have caused less confusion. I would recommend Dexters as an estate agent though, I feel like they are fair.

Having booked a viewing with Dexters, we arrived at the flat, to find that our estate agent was late and unable to attend. Despite this, we were thankful Michael was able to fill in and meet with us. Michael was very friendly, professional and helpful. He provided us with an extensive amount of information about the property, answering our questions with great detail and noteworthy advise for going forward. Michael even extended his kindness by offering to drive us back, from the property to the town centre, which we haven't had the pleasure of receiving from any other estate agents before - a great ambassador for Dexters.

Selling in a depressed market is, well, depressing. Have started with a dual-agency deal we eventually got rid of the other agent and stuck with Dexters.
