Worst experience with the agency

Worst experience with the agency, I decided to move out the apartment earlier because living conditions were unbearable. As such early tenancy move outs require a penalty, I was told by an agent a sum and that it is a fixed amount regardless if they will find a new tenant or I will, the total sum stays the same.Come to find out 2 months later that this in fact was not true and I could’ve saved almost 2K if I found a tenant myself. Agent was denying ever saying those terms to me to the point it was easier to pay the sum than start the negotiations with big agency. Would not recommend to use them or be very careful with every communication and have it crystal clear via emails.

They just don't care

Everything was fine and then we moved in. Loads of issues loads of non working or non closing doors. The fridge that was supposed to be replaced has never been replaced. All the emails have been ignored and no maintenance work has been done. Leaking roof makes living in 1 room impossible but the emails are being ignored. Calling them you only get a question how bad is it??? What do you mean how bad is it??? So for over a year there has not been any help from them. But they expect you to jump as soon as they need something. I hope its only this branch that is so incompetent and others are better.....

I've had a very good experience with Dexters as a buyer. I've felt that they have been very transparent, available and helpful throughout the process. Hasan has been the primary contact for my purchase, and he has always been super available to speak to resolve any queries or help with chasing solicitors. In Hasan's rare absences Elli has also been very helpful and willing to assist in chasing and getting answers from sellers and solicitors. I would highly recommend the Dexters Shorditch branch

Will has been great and gave us a realistic pricing strategy, and regular chats with Sarah were not only enjoyable but helpful with respect to how to encourage more offers. When we the offer did come in, Lok was able to push the transaction through and then Ellie was a dream at ensuring everything happened to plan at a timeframe that was perfect for us. Had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Joseph Kwaw to arrange a new tenancy. Top service from him, and helped with all ours needs from viewing through to getting the keys. Pretty sure he’ll be round for a pint once I’ve moved in!Dexters office in general were great helping if Joe was in another call when I phoned, so I can’t recommend them highly enough. We have had a lot of upgrading work done to a house that had not had a change of tenant for many years, only to then find we needed additional works when it was declared a HMO. Chris and Pam have given us excellent service and achieved this with the tenants in situ, and in difficult circumstances while Covid was still a factor.
