Julian Daley is great.Julian is our property manager, he help us arranged to fix stuff on time.Eg, there was sth wrong with the fridge.m, he arranged the vendor to come and investigate and fix it, within a short period of time.When I there were issues, he could guide us promptly or redirect us to the relevant parties.Overall, he is very helpful and provided prompt feedback. A horrible experience

A horrible experience. Dexters arranged a viewing for us at the property when the previous tenant’s furniture was still in the flat. There was serious damp damage on the wall linings behind that furniture. They did not disclose this even though they were aware of a serious leak in the building and then failed to acknowledge their gross marketing practice. We made an offer. On the first day of our tenancy we discovered the damp on the walls, faulty electrics, faulty heating units and mold on the window blinds. Beware of trusting them

Great customer service!

I moved into my new property on the 20th December 2022, just before Christmas which is a hectic time for everybody! However, with the assistance of Dexters (especially Bill) they have made my move very smooth and hassle free. Bill has been nothing but helpful, proactive and attentive. He has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and always gets back to me when he says he will (a lot of people don’t!). Bill has (and will continue to I’m sure) provided me with excellent customer service.

Elli and her brilliant team have been true angels from start to finish. As first-time buyers previously missing out on properties to cash buyers, we had gone through the motions of dozens of viewings and offers. After falling for the flat right away, Elle was so quick to present and submit our offer form that it helped show the sellers how keen we were. Ultimately their liaison on our behalf helped ensure the sellers we were the right match for their property. Without her it wouldn’t have happened and we are so grateful. Worst experience with the agency

Worst experience with the agency, I decided to move out the apartment earlier because living conditions were unbearable. As such early tenancy move outs require a penalty, I was told by an agent a sum and that it is a fixed amount regardless if they will find a new tenant or I will, the total sum stays the same.Come to find out 2 months later that this in fact was not true and I could’ve saved almost 2K if I found a tenant myself. Agent was denying ever saying those terms to me to the point it was easier to pay the sum than start the negotiations with big agency. Would not recommend to use them or be very careful with every communication and have it crystal clear via emails.

They just don't care

Everything was fine and then we moved in. Loads of issues loads of non working or non closing doors. The fridge that was supposed to be replaced has never been replaced. All the emails have been ignored and no maintenance work has been done. Leaking roof makes living in 1 room impossible but the emails are being ignored. Calling them you only get a question how bad is it??? What do you mean how bad is it??? So for over a year there has not been any help from them. But they expect you to jump as soon as they need something. I hope its only this branch that is so incompetent and others are better.....

I've had a very good experience with Dexters as a buyer. I've felt that they have been very transparent, available and helpful throughout the process. Hasan has been the primary contact for my purchase, and he has always been super available to speak to resolve any queries or help with chasing solicitors. In Hasan's rare absences Elli has also been very helpful and willing to assist in chasing and getting answers from sellers and solicitors. I would highly recommend the Dexters Shorditch branch
