Don’t choose Dexters

Hello Guys!We have rented 3 bed house from Dexters. We have signed contract first 8th Aug. Then when we go to the house for cleaning we get shocked. The house like cowshed:) they did something and we moved 17th Aug. One bedroom Out of use because really strong smelling carpet or something. Now we can’t use another room as well because radiator suddenly getting cold after boiler turn off. Toilet Flush is doesn’t work Etc. We have so many problems we’re waiting for Dexters will do something but today I got email. They’re asking what’s your problem:)) and one of the management manager said if you don’t like you leave the house. :)) it’s been more than 4 Months and I got final mail if you don’t like leave the house :)) My advice if need to rent house from Dexters Check the house EmptyCheck everything even tabs, flush, floor furniture, smell.Because after signing the contract you can’t get solutions.For small problems they are good likeTab changeWashing Machine Change

So far our experience of renting through Dexters has been straightforward and relatively easy. Zendeca from the Battersea branch went above and beyond to get us a viewing of our perfect property, despite it being her day off and viewings having already been completed. She worked hard to get to know us so we could make the best offer to the landlords, and was responsive and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Zendeca was also understanding of our requirements and requests, and arranged some flexibility for us where possible. We love our flat and we're very grateful to Zendeca and the Dexters Battersea team for making it possible.

No respect for tenants !

We have been in this flat for 17 years .Originally it was managed by a private estate agent that was taken over by Dexters a few years ago .At first they were ok but lately we had an emergency with a broken toilet : staff are not interested,been told to wait till I get a phone call ,result since yesterday the toilet has not been fixed .No apology ,nothing!They charge extortionate prices ,then vanish if/when then is an issue .Today is Saturday ,I work from home,I fear that nothing is going to be done until Monday.The minimum I have to give is 1 star but for this type of behaviour they deserve -5.As well staff behaving like this should not be part of their team and I strongly believe that management should act !

I really appreciate how Petros helped me resolved every issue, he walked me through it and checked that everything was completed. The Dexter’s management team are so supportive and helpful. Donalina has been instrumental in keeping me updated with an issue I reported around a water leak in a flat above mine. She always called me and for me that’s the best thing about her. Dexters Bloomsbury was the worst

Dexters Bloomsbury was the worst nightmare one could imagine. The house was disgusting and dirty and they have failed to professionally clean it for 3 days. They repeatedly breached the contract by failing to provide a clean house and free of other people stuff. On top of that, the previous tenants had Covid and still they did not care about cleaning it. Honestly, if you want to live in a decent place and deal with reasonable people I strongly advise you not to use this letting agency

Our agent Jordan was very professional, responsive and was pleasant to deal with. We had a few properties in Angel that we wanted to view quite quickly as we had 3 weeks to move out of our current place and Jordan was flexible with his timings, shifted our viewing a day earlier so that we could make a decision quicker on our place and answered all our questions promptly. You could’ve guessed that we definitely went with Jordan’s property not only because we were fond of the place but because Jordan’s ability to go the extra mile with our requests.
