Friendly service and team with good communication. Dexters rented my property within a month of signing on! Joe was very good and fast at communicating. However, being an overseas landlord, I didn't feel as though I was supported and kept in the loop at all times; I had to chase up for information a few times, which given the amount you pay for the service is not what you'd expect. It is very clear this is simply a business transaction, and as long as you are aware of that, Dexters is a good choice.PositiveResponsiveness

I found myself unexpectedly needing to rent my flat out this month, and as someone who had no intention of becoming a landlord, the whole process was extremely daunting. Billy was so helpful and exceeded all expectations I had from a London estate agent. He guided me through the whole process and was always super fast to reply to any question I had, even when they were probably stupid questions. He made sure I was always kept up to date in a situation I know nothing about and I'm really grateful for that. Jodi, Joe and Pal worked hard to sell my property. Jodi, I have known for some years and she has always been professional, helpful and very friendly. When I had problems, through no fault of Dexters, she was sympathetic, gave good advice and made a bad situation better. Always extremely courteous and it would not be an exaggeration to say she has been a joy to deal with and comes over as a very kind person. Joe took on board the sale of my property when I put it I back on the market and got a buyer in short order. He obviously did all he could to keep me informed and when the buyer was having trouble with her original mortgage, managed to get her a new offer in short order. Always professional knowledgeable and a good communicator. When I was feeling stressed at the length of time the purchaser was taking to finalise the sale he did his best to put me at my ease and give me the assurance that the sale was going through. A real asset to the firm and more importantly, to the customer. Pal, again, shows good communication skills. She was helpful and knowledgeable - always available to answer my queries with good advice. She gave a sympathetic ear to my worries and concerns and helped put me at my ease. Dexters were a a real pleasure to have as my sales team and I would not hesitate to use the firm again should the need arise. I would advise anyone thinking of selling a property to use them. Although not blurring the lines of professionalism Jodi especially really helped me out when I was feeling a bit unsure of things. Although I had never dealt with Joe before, he showed real skill as a salesman and got the buyer over the finish line to everyone’s satisfaction. Thanks to the whole team.

UPDATE: I've now been in a flat managed by Rebekah at Dexters for several months and have found her to be very responsive and helpful whenever I've needed her assistance! After a long and sometimes frustrating search for a flat to let, I went to a viewing with Billy, and told him I'd like to make an offer. Billy organized everything so quickly that by the time I got home from the viewing (~30 mins later), he called to say the offer had been accepted, and kicked off all the paperwork straight away. I could not believe how fast & efficient the process was, and Billy was communicative and in my corner the whole way. By far the most seamless letting process I've ever experienced! Thanks Billy!

Dexters manages the apartment I rent in Lower Holloway, they are very supportive and quick whenever we signal an issue in the property. During the last visit, their Senior Property Manager Petros Giorganios went above and beyond in showing us how to better use and maintain the heating system, on top of being very kind and courteous.

Worst estate agency

Worst estate agency, was a nightmare living in 121A Darwin Road. No sound proof, creaky floors, history of neighbours fighting bcoz of it. Being let out inspite of all this. Property Manager never replies back to emails. No action taken even after 9 months. Boiler was broken from almost a month and lived without heating or hot water. Finally gave up and moved out. Not a word of apology from them, they are chasing now regarding contract.
