We had a window in our flat unexpectedly shatter this week, which ended up being more stressful than we anticipated due to delays and confusion around getting it repaired. Throughout the whole situation, Ryan Campbell, the property manager was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to listen to both me and my housemate, offered clear and practical advice, and made sure we felt genuinely supported.

GoogleOur experience with this Dexters office was surprising. The real estate agent asked us for many personal details including card details, savings information etc. When we refused to give card details, he proceeded to ask for fishy personal information including passport copies without any guarantee of them being dealt with privately or safely. I clearly communicated to him that we would be happy to provide these details via an independent online verification portal. We've lived in London for years and worked with several agents. All of this was very out of the ordinary. We also assured him we would pay the deposit the same day our offer was accepted. In fact, it might even be illegal given the data privacy laws in place now. In addition to this, while we were the first to view the apartment and make the offer, he took over 24 hours to get the offer over to the client for a property in Spitalfields. In addition to this, he continued to waste my time, trying to persuade me on terms that were non negotiable, including no break clause- that was not mentioned on the listing, or in the initial viewing call. This broker had to be pushed to put our offer forward to the landlord even after this and "deemed our offer incomplete." This broker definitely did not have the landlords interest in mind. I hope management takes him up on the way he's treating offers and provides adequate training.

Ed******. One of the sneakiest agent.He harassed us to let people do some works and we found out that they have been using utilities and had us pay for it. Hundreds of pounds...He just kept ignoring phone calls and emails and randomly replying to say that he is discussing with the company to get us paid back.I wouldn't trust dexters agents. They will lie to you and make you believe that you're having a good deal (e.g. asking to not discuss rent with neighbours, which I did obviously and literally had a group chat) then harass you to leave them a review on-line. SMH.And if the review is not positive, they will try to get it removed!

Purchased our first flat from Dexters, they delayed giving us the key by ten days to give them enough time to paint and clean flat. After 10 days we received a filthy flat, with furniture left behind, not even one surface was clean. No paint either. They blamed it on 'third party'.Horrible experience. Would not recommend to work with them to buy property. We had the worst experience buying our first flat with them. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Dexters tried to sell a flat for me. The branch manager won my business by proposing a high valuation which in the end turned out to be unrealistic. However, I then received an offer quickly and accepted it. Then, in spite of my doubts about the buyer and several conversations with the guy at Dexters who was supposed to chase the buyer, 6 months later the buyer pulled out. Dexters put the flat back on the market and claimed to have found buyers who turned out to be false leads. After 10 months I gave up and used another, more realistic agent who isn't with a large chain of pushy salespeople. He gave good advice about pricing (and then about reducing the price), got an offer and has now taken the sale to completion. This positive experience has made me realise what a mistake it was to use Dexters in the first place.
