We achieved a house sale, eventually, but were deeply disappointed with the practices of Dexters. First we were pressured into a lengthy chain which we were told had been checked out, and we were assured was better than a matching cash offer. The chain proved, over a period of 3-4 months, to be unstable and impossible to contact. Eventually our buyers said they'd dropped the troublesome chain and switched to a single new cash buyer. But it came to light (during delays on our moving day) that in fact they had finally exchanged with the old original chain. Dexters knew about this, and did not tell us or our solicitor. Not knowing that we were back in a chain of six resulted in a costly and upsetting moving day. A hitch down the line meant sales payments came in much later than expected (at which point of the evening our removals crew were on the point of leaving, and we only accessed our new keys with difficulty). When questioned about keeping us in the dark, Dexters Chiswick said they didn't see the point of telling us, and wouldn't think of adjusting their sizeable fee in view of our unexpected extra costs from the removal company. The whole sales process took more than four months, despite being told at the start that the chain was ready to go. We no longer trust Dexters, and would not recommend them to anyone. Their motto seems to be "A sale at any cost'. The cost to us was a miserable sale experience, a nightmare of a move, extra expense, and the disturbing fact Dexters were not open with us.

Have just had superb service from these exceptional Chiswick agents. I had a property that came vacant suddenly at an awkward time of the year that was let by dexters without a break. Nothing was too much trouble for Dexters who really went the extra mile. Sachsa Monrose put in huge hard work demonstrating persistence, tact and great salesmanship, as did Natasha Gree in what was a far from easy process finding and making the arrangements for the new tenants. Andrew shaw roled up his sleeves and went so far as moving furniture when it needed to be done on his own initiative, which is characteristic of the ‘get the job done’ attitude the Agency demonstrated throughout. All overseen by the by the calm and capable authority of Michael Varilone who runs the Dexters letting department iwith huge competence and skill. We have found Dexters consistently excellent for years and would recommend them without hesitation.

The guys at Dexters are incredibly helpful in finding a property that is well suited to my needs, they are an exemplary form of what an estate agent should be; good listeners, not too corporate but yet highly professional whilst remaining relatable and approachable. There are more than 30 estate agents vying for business in the Chiswick area, so the choice for the customer is a difficult one. We liked the directness of the Dexter approach right from the start so we went with them. To say that we are delighted with the results of that decision is an understatement. They are excellent. Immensely professional. Totally practical and down to earth. You get the sense that the whole team is on the case. No call or message fails to get a response. And they are effective. They suggested they should be able to let the flat in 10 days. They did it in 2! If you ring ask for Andrew or Sam Symonds. You won’t regret it.
