I had such a positive experience working with Shoshannah throughout the buying process. We recently bought a house from Dexters, Chiswick and although, naturally, challenges arose within the sale, our point of contact- Shoshannah, was excellent throughout. Shoshannah was professional and helpful, accommodating and friendly, she's on the ball and managed to navigate some tricky waters with ease. I honestly don’t understand how Dexter’s has a 4-star rating. They valued our flat and pushed us to list at the higher end, confidently talking up demand. We trusted their advice. The flat went live… and for two weeks, nothing. Not a single viewing. After just two weeks of zero traction, they came back and told us to drop the price by £50k. What was most frustrating was how it was framed, as if the pricing decision sat with us, when we had followed their original guidance. They then pointed to things like “only having one bathroom” as the issue, despite knowing that from day one. So in reality, they set the strategy, it didn’t work, and then the responsibility to fix it was pushed back onto us. Communication was poor throughout. You hear nothing unless you chase, and when you do, you’re met with defensiveness rather than solutions. Ally Mirhamesh and Morgan were involved at different stages, but there was no ownership or continuity. After signing, we were left chasing basic updates, including when the property would even go live. Despite all the promises, we got zero viewings in 6weeks, no meaningful updates, no reports, and no effort to improve the listing. We were even told the photos they commissioned weren’t good enough, but nothing was done about it. In the end, it was clear the pricing and overall approach had been completely misjudged, and we exited the contract early. If you’re selling, I’d stay well away - go with a local agent and don’t give your money to an agent who sells you a dream of ‘a big database’. Strong sales pitch upfront, very little behind it.

Managed to get a great flat after only three different viewings with Sorrel. She knew exactly what I was looking for and was always responsive. Many estate agents in London aren’t as dedicated as her. Many of whom my housemate met were late, impolite or flat out didn’t show up. Sorrel was completely different to what we had experienced so far. She was always early, called to ask for my feedback and knowledgeable about the properties. Would recommend.

We recently needed to find a new flat to rent and found that Dexters tended to show us ones that were most suitable to what we actually wanted, and we’re not super pushy like some other agents. We were shown as flat by Bill and decided to go ahead with it - he was very responsive to all of our questions leading up to it, and quick to reply to us. He helpfully arranged multiple visits so we could see it again and later to take measurements to plan out the furniture. There were some last minute issues with the landlord getting a license from the council that caused a delay to the move in date, so the move itself was a mixed and quite stressful experience, but Bill was very helpful the whole time, keeping us updated and being patient and reassuring when we called multiple times to check in, and acting urgently to help ensure we could still move in to the property. We’d definitely recommend working with Bill and despite the issues, I still found Dexters to be one of the best estate agents that I’ve worked with.

I ended up renting elsewhere due to a massive price difference, but Natalie made it really hard to make that decision (I have dealt with various letting agents and she’s the first who actually seemed genuinely interested in what I needed, and like she actually cared!).
