It was our 1st time as tenants as our home was being renovated. I will share our initial experience in a separate review. Sarah Dowling stepped in in the midst of frustration and she took charge. Sarah was very efficient and at the same time, humane. She would return my calls and put my mind at ease. During the last 2 weeks of our tenancy, Sarah was absolutely marvellous. She organised cleaning, gardening and this took a huge pressure off me. Sarah Dowling, you are tailor-made for this job and an asset to your team. Thank you and God bless you. Kim Coxhill however was a nightmare. She was most unprofessional, rude, unhelpful and was very inpatient with us. Our encounter with her made our settling in and stay very miserable. I wonder why she works as a customer service person, she has no skills for this job.

We would highly recommend Dexters,Acton Branch. The sales team are friendly and professional; and offered us good advise about price and the details of selling our home. Within two weeks of going on the market we had fifteen viewings and the house sold within three weeks. We are really pleased with the enthusiasm the sales team displayed,their sensitivity to our wishes and plain good manners. I thought the Acton branch of Dexters was pretty hopeless. In my opinion, they totally lacked any sense of responsibility for my home. Items were stolen from my house when they and the viewers they were accompanying were the only people to have been inside the house. On several occasions they failed to lock the front door after a viewing, and on one occasion, they managed to lock themselves out, leaving in my house bunches of keys and addresses for viewings scheduled for the rest of the day. I really would not recommend trusting them with keys. I don’t know if staff are self-employed or not, but information given to one person was never shared with anyone else, which I found really frustrating. It was also, frequently disregarded. I wouldn’t use them again, but in any event, I have a very low opinion of estate agents generally, so would recommend avoiding using estate agents if at all possible. They cost approximately 10 times what my solicitor cost and in no way could be said to be value for money. My solicitor on the other hand, was worth every penny. Hazel December 2016

As a first time buyer, I was quite apprehensive about getting on the property ladder as I heard many horror stories about estate agents from friends and family. However when I bought my flat through the Acton team I found their professionalism and communication to be very good from the outset and they were there to advise me throughout the process. Pam was great to be a point of contact during the sale process which made it stress free and Michael was great to deal with too. I would have no hesitation in using them when I come to sell the flat in the future

We originallly listed our property with another local agent, who had been recommend to us by a neighbour. Although not through lack of effort, they was unable to attract the right quality tenant. Billy from the Acton branch had been around to our property 3 times within 1 week to ask for an opportunity to market the property along side the other agent. Once we decided to give Dexter’s a try, we did not look back. Within 1 week they had secured us a family relocating from Japan, who paid a premium as the children attended local schools! Had a fantastic experience with Dexters in Acton. I had put our house up for rent with another agent, who had told us about how easy it would be to rent it out. 4 months later and nothing has happened. We are a bit picky, we only want a family not house sharing! Out of the blue I get a call from Billy from Dexters. He has seen our house on Rightmove. He tells me he has rented places like ours and have some potential tenants. With in 3 weeks we have a tenant we would like, a family of 5. I can only say that I can highly recommend Billy G and Dexters, super professional and some I trust working with.
