GoogleShocking property management services - negligent even. My experience has been that Dexter's have poor administration and management. Having taken over administration of an elderly relatives affairs I find there has been no rental increase in the 12 years Dexters have rented out the property, they are slow to react when problems occur and incorrectly renewed a tenancy without proper approval. Steer well clear.

GoogleVery unprofessional experience with Dexters Acton. Total waste of time!
I've just relocated to London, and it's the first letting agency we've ever worked with.
At first, everything was fine...until we've successfully placed our holding deposit and finished our reference checks.
The referencing agent informed us to communicate with our letting agent, Lara-Rose Elsi. So we called and emailed her for a status update. However, we haven't got any replies since then - not even from her colleagues - NO FOLLOW-UPS AT ALL!
After one week or two, another Dexters agent got back to me. He said Lara was not around (again!), and the landlord decided not to rent us the property one week before (what?). We were in total shock. Why didn't they tell me right away? Why didn't they have any official or written confirmation? They simply left me there waiting and wasting my time! I could have started looking for other properties much earlier if they told me the landlord had decided to pull out!
I don't understand why a "professional" letting agency can operate like this. It's okay for an agent not feeling well or takes a week off - it's totally fine and I understand that - I just don't see why they have poor communication, and they simply don't have other staff members to follow up with my case when the original agent is not available.
Advice:
