For the rental team: If there was less than one star I would give it. Extremely rude, do not care for customer service, overheard them talking about me whilst they thought they were on mute (spoiler: it was vulgar). Persistent spanning of phone calls and text messages even after multiple warnings not to do so. I don’t think they quite grasp the concept of people having jobs/ studying in the day whilst they are in the office. Yet, when an urgent email needs replying, I can literally see the metaphorical tumbleweed rolling across my inbox. Absolutely diabolical. Would not recommend them for either a landlord or perspective tenants. Avoid and find a better estate agents, which in Clapham there in an abundance of - literally anyone, anyone at all, any random guy walking down the high street.

We went to view three flats with Jack on a very short notice and he was so accommodating. The flats were great prospects based on the the qualifications we provided. He asked so many questions to figure out exactly what we were looking for and worked so hard even in the short hour we spent with him to help us in our hunt. 10/10 would recommend!PositiveQuality

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Dexters Clapham for many years and have always been highly impressed with their efficiency and professionalism as a Lettings and Property Management agent. James Gambardella and his Property Management team always have a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude towards all their clients, which ensures they give nothing less than a 5 star service. The manager has subsequently called me and has rectified my complaint. ************************* I have called dexters estate agent, Clapham High Street, on three separate occasions to remove the advertising board outside my property. Whilst communicating that they will organise the board to be taken down, it's quite clear they are ignoring my pleas. According to the lambeth council website an estate agent has 14 days to remove the advertising board, following an agreed tenancy. Dexters are now in breach of these rules and are well in excess of this time period. I suspect this is the case for many of their advertising boards.

I rented an overall great property in Vauxhall through Dexters Clapham High Street, although at first I had some difficulty with the property itself regarding some maintenance on an ancient boiler that urgently needed replacing. The agent who helped me rent the property in the first place, a devilishly handsome chap named Ryan, was a star in helping me locate and contact my landlord regarding this issue, and Ryan actually took the duty of organising all of this maintenance for me (although Dexters were not managing this property themselves). Therefore I'm giving this agent a 5 star rating for the really awesome customer service!

As a conveyancer it was a pleasure working with Gabriel Cunningham acting as agent. He has a very extensive knowledge of the area. Communication in our particular matter was key and throughout we managed to maintain good regular contact which ensured a very smooth and stress free sale. I was searching for a new flat for 6 weeks and had met every cowboy, let down and con man of an estate agent in london. I met Levi from Dexters when he showed me one property and as it wasnt right for me he instantly new a property that would. And it did. He was kind, courteous and professional. He treated me like a human, and allowed me to be me when telling him my needs. He didnt simply see me as commission! Stick with Dexters, the rest abuse their privilege in finding us homes.

''As a local conveyancing solicitor we work closely with a number of estate agents in the local area, however I personally have never dealt with Dexters in Clapham until now where we recently completed a sale for a mutual client. After unsuccessfully trying to sell my flat with various other estate agents, we transferred it to Dexters, and wow what a difference! For me, the two biggest differences were how impressively proactive Dexters were in getting viewings in and marketing the property, and also how fantastic our manager, Gabriel, was at keeping us informed and generating ideas to help going forwards. I really felt that my property was important to them, which had been lost with the previous estate agents we'd used. The after sale support was also incredible. We had some difficult negotiations but Gabriel spent a huge amount of time with us to ensure everything went smoothly. Couldn't recommend Dexters more highly!

Dexters have to be one of the worst estate agents i have dealt with. They sold me the dream of a house in clapham north and kept encouraging me to put on a deposit. The deposit itself was larger than usual but the stresses of finding a nice place i didnt want to miss out on this opportunity, but of course i have concerns, with the agents i was dealing with waiving them off saying everyone passes reference checks and you will be fine. After they take a hefty deposit off me and make me sign documents within 24 hours even though it takes 3 days for the reference check to come back, it turns out i dont pass my reference check because i have been self employed for only 11 month and 2.5 weeks instead of over 12 months, which of course is something they should of told me before taking my deposit. among other issues which have conveniently popped up after my deposit is taken, i have been left stranded with no good will from dexters to return any of my hefty deposit. i even tried to contact the management team via email with no response. Would not recommend this agency to anyone and would ask people to steer clear

As a landlord I have used Dexters to rent out my Apartment since it was new nearly 20 years ago. I have always had 100% ocupancy on my apartment and change overs between tennants have been well organised, and where have been the odd proplem with rent collection over the years they have always managed to sort with lttle fuss and bother from a landlords point of view. I would highly reccomend them to any landlords looking to using them, as either a letting or managing agent.

Paula Baptista - I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Paula for her outstanding commitment. Paula took on a very tricky task as our property manager at the end of our tenancy (following our previous property manager's departure) and has been truly wonderful. She went above and beyond, despite coming in at such a late stage of proceedings, when the tenancy had already ended and dealt with our requests fairly, promptly and knowledgeably. If only you had been our property manager throughout, we believe we would have had a much happier experience with Dexters over the past 2.5 years! Paula really is an exceptional asset to Dexters and we are incredibly grateful for all of her efforts. Gabriel and his sales team are unique, I have dealt with many agents in the Clapham area, whilst trying to sell my property, but he and his team outshone other high street agents. With their knowledge of the market, the area, accurate valuations, the honest unbias advice, their ability to generate numerous viewings and professional/friendly personality that you can trust. The other key factor for using Dexters is the close genuine working relationship with their other offices, which gives a wider area of properties and potential buyers. Compared to other agents who don't cross-sell or have their own agendas. Thanks.
