GoogleTERRIBLE. this estate agents take multiple holding deposits from people for the same property, allowing them to believe they have secured their new home.. ITS A SCAM
Thanks For your review, we note four one star reviews was left by the same party for the same reason - you lost out to another person for the property, once a higher offer was made by a client from the same set of viewings. We must say we totally disagree and refute any illegality, we appreciate you missed out on a property and feel upset however with the current climate demand is larger then supply as it stands and landlords can occasionally accept higher offers if they come in. You also did not lose any funds and was refunded your whole holding fee once your offer was rejected. We take claims like this very seriously hence feel it is appropriate to inform all our clients as stated on our website and in branch we are a member of CMP Client Money Protect, so all client money is safe and protected and we cannot allow illegal activity with client money, so the claims was clearly not the case here. As a independent business disparaging reviews with incorrect information damages the business. We recommend you to do your own research and see nothing illegal was done and you was refunded your holding fee once your offer was rejected. Sorry we was unable to help on this occasion and note we do not carry out untoward practice so had a duty to inform our client of the higher offer once it came in and give you the decision to match or find an alternative property at no cost to yourself. We use Cottage Fields as our sole agents, as they are very experienced in the field and their service is unrivalled. They help us acquire investments properties to buy, once we have renovated them, we then proceed to let and manage with speed, professionalism and skill. They truly take the stress away for scenarios one can find difficult through the selling, letting and management of properties. Would not recommend them higher. Great team of honest and truly hard working individuals.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There are better estate agents out there. In fact be ware of their practices. They're NOT upfront or transparent (as they claim) about serious issues with a property for sale, never come back on any questions you leave with them and they were late for my last viewing. They're are difficult to deal with and defensive when it comes to feedback. They called me argumentative when all I was trying to do is get an update after my last viewing. Don't be fouled by their polite telephone manner, that's where customer service ends! The lack of service starts with the director and continues with the remaining staff. I won't be using them for sale of my property or purchase of my new home.

Not only that they mamaged it's sale in a period of few months despite the poor market in my area. All this couldn't have been achieved without the help of the company's sales personnel Mr. Ilshad K. Thank you so much to Cottage Fields for helping me find a new home quickly for me and my little girl. A lot of landlords can be so judgemental and not even give you a chance to move in when you're on hard times but Ismail put me with the right home. We even have a garden! Since moving in I've had an easy time, their management team are only a call or email away and Gina, Maria and Leyla always get me sorted if any maintenance stuff comes up! (so far only a bit of a leaky sink haha.) But I'm really happy and feel safe here. Thank you.Raki ;)

Relieved to have picked Cottage Fields to sell my house through. They got my Edmonton property sold for a good price. But before that the process was smooth as! I got property performance reports about how well the listing was doing and they kept me in the loop about marketing strategies that would do well. I kept making jokes that cfields were taking all my stresses away, like going to a spa. Was great when I first rented one of their properties but when it comes to terminating a contract or it just ending absolutely horrendous, totally unprofessional and backtracked on everything they said (I personally think it was because I wasn’t re renting through them) quickly told me all correct way to terminate and how my deposit would be affected and handed keys back with no access to go back to kindly clean cream stair carpet, lady in the office told me the carpet was new and needed cleaning which I happily did I’d go with their quote (carpet turned out to be 6+ years old and they didn’t go ahead with cleaning it got docked out my deposit along with another 1000.) Never again, felt very backstabbed to say the least
