GoogleI recently sold my flat through Conran Brockley. They found me the right buyer very quickly and were supportive of the buyer and myself through the conveyancing process. The photos and marketing pack were very good quality and showed my flat off extremely well. I was also appreciative that they don't pressure you to accept the first offer you receive but nor do they over-value your property to win your business. They were genuine throughout.

GoogleEstate agents get a bad press so I didn't expect to enjoy dealing with Conran but, in fact, I did. They turned up when they said they would, they made a terrific video of my house, much better than the videos I saw of other houses, They were entirely transparent in their dealings with me and they sold my house in the midst of winter during a pandemic. In particular, the negotiator, Felix North, with whom I had most of my dealings, was a pleasure to deal with. Patient and good-humoured throughout, he kept us focused when it all seemed a little bit overwhelming.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleThe Conran team initially came across as supportive and communicative, however when we submitted a final offer on a property at 99% of asking price it was disappointing to receive no feedback whatsoever, and to subsequently find that the sale closed at 97% of asking. No doubt plenty of buyers have better experiences, but ours seemed to suggest not all buyers are treated equally.
Good day Sailesh, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. This happened in February 2020: We arranged 20 viewings during the first few days of marketing and received multiple offers, including your initial offer at 107% of the Guide Price. There were several higher offers than yours at this stage. From these offers, we invited 5 couples back for second viewings to see the property again and this time to meet the sellers. This allows everyone to explain the position of their home sale in detail and their timeframes. After these second viewings, we invited final offers, including yours (at over 110% of the initial Guide Price). Your offer was the second highest. All offers were again presented to the sellers. The sellers were delighted with the offers that had been put forward, as all were much higher than other agents had told them at the valuation stage. They decided to choose the couple that had made the highest offer. We informed all parties of their decision, and we received your response by email: ‘Thank you for confirming the vendor’s decision to proceed with another offer this morning. We’re understandably disappointed as we would have been delighted to receive feedback and revise our offer beyond the guidance.’ You made 2 offers at 2 different times, and at both times, other people made higher offers than you. We pride ourselves on providing our sellers with multiple offers along with the necessary detail to make an informed decision. Different sellers require different levels of assistance. I would describe these sellers as ‘fairly dynamic’ and comfortable in making their own decision once presented with offers and after meeting the prospective buyers, which they did. Covid struck and we went into Lockdown, four months later, when services were back up and running, the mortgage surveyor down-valued the property requiring an agreement to be made to adjust the sale price. Subsequently, you have observed that the property sold for £10,000 below your highest offer. Not knowing that the property was down-valued, I can understand your frustrations. However, I am saddened that you feel our service is only worth 2 stars. We go to great lengths to treat all customers the same, and I rarely have unhappy customers, as my other reviews suggest.
