Doing it right because they have good people

I have always had great service from Conran's. The agent I used to deal with has retired, and I was a bit concerned that her replacement might not be as efficient, capable and friendly as Georgina was. Nothing to worry about, Debbie is fantastic and so going forward I will continue to be in capable hands. There are some truly terrible estate agents out there, thank heavens for Conrans who are showing the others how it should be done.

Conran Estates - Angel

Conran Estates, specifically Angel, were extremely helpful when we secured a rental property. For reasons outside their control, the first property fell through however, Angel was able to help us promptly secure another, guiding us through the process to completion, alleviating what would have been a stressful situation. A very professional service throughout, where any queries were addressed promptly. We would recommend Conran, and Angel specifically, to anyone looking to secure a new property.

I can't recommend this company highly enough. They supported me with every aspect of my sale, and made this complex and stressful process incredibly smooth and manageable. Guy is professional, extremely knowledgeable about the market and the industry, and importantly, he is honest and straightforward in all his dealings. The administrative staff are thorough and efficient and very kind and supportive. In all honesty, rarely, do you get such exemplary service in these days. We had a fantastic experience buying our first flat with Joey at Conran. He was friendly, professional, and stayed on-the-ball and active through the whole process, checking in with everyone involved (us, the sellers, the solicitors etc etc) to keep things moving smoothly and maintain good communication. Disloyal , Sexist , and to be avoided

I have already written a review about my experience with Conran but it was taken down as it named names. I feel it is my duty as a member the public to bring to attention the things that agents will do in order to gain busiiness. I rented out 2 houses with Conran for a number of years , I was known to them and I alone owned the property. In July this year an ex of over 8 years went into Conrans and asked a senior member of staff to value my house that I currently live in. He I suspect was given a figure that the Ex wanted and duly emailed him a low valuation of my house which he had never been in. I called the agent who is a notorious figure in this area and asked him why he felt he was able to do this . He replied that he thought that the ex owned half of my property. I know that an agent is supposed to carry out due diligence and the first thing they should do is look at a the title deed to see who owns the property.This agent even though he knew me and my contact details were on file did not bother and just saw the pound signs. I also think he is sexist and wonder if I as a woman just wandered in off the street and asked for a valuation of a property with no proof of ownership how he would respond. What this agent has done is caused a lot of problems and damage to me. When I called the office to confront him about his actions he tried to put the phone down on me. What the public needs to know about agents is they need no qualifications to value property and in my experience will say pretty much anything to gain business. You may think they are regulated and have some sort of redress for problems such as these but think again. The property Ombudsman is inundated with complaints about this racket and will do very little to help you. Conran have been disloyal and acted only in they're interests . I have not received an apology all they have done is taken down my last review which was too specific. There top priority is to protect themselves. Make sure before you embark on buying and selling that you have done your research . I cannot recommend this agent as they have acted in such an appalling way and know they can get away with it. I also note that they are happy for names to appear in good reviews , yet another example of double standards. Estate agents of this caliber are no better than used car dealers so beware.

Conran were fantastic from start to finish when we sold our home in Brockley - we can't recommend them highly enough. Felix and Guy were hugely knowledgable and experienced, making the process really positive. They marketed our property with great attention to detail - we were most impressed with the photos (really beautiful) and the extra work they did around telling the story of our home, which the buyer told us was really helpful to them. It's been a slightly arduous, longwinded process due to various factors and would have been so much worse without Felix and Conran's support throughout (I can say that with confidence as we also had prior experience with another local agent who were useless!). We really appreciated that Felix consistently went the extra mile for us and was always there with reassurance and advice when things were tricky. His personal touch really meant a lot to us, and it's also clear that as a local independent agent Conran really knows and cares about the area and its people.
