The service we received from this branch was extremely mixed: several basic problems - rude emails, repeatedly addressing us by the wrong names, failing to have things ready for check-in as agreed. However Evie was the star of the show - answered all our questions quickly and helpfully, and nothing was too much trouble. So I guess it just depends who you get on the end of the phone!

Cannot rate this Cluttons highly enough! Was so keen on living around Shad Thames but was struggling to rent there as I have a cat (which isn’t allowed on quite a few head leases in this area). Brooke was an absolute super star and found me so many lovely options despite the tight market and then really advocated for me (and my cat!) to help get it over the line. She was so reassuring throughout the process which could have been so much more stressful. Once the deal was signed, Falon took over logistics and was also so helpful, responsive (even over the Christmas period) and friendly. I’m so so grateful to the team and absolutely love my new home. 10/10 would recommend these guys.

Cluttons Tower Bridge helped us to find, negotiate and move into our first rental property in London after relocating from Australia. The whole team were fantastic, efficient and friendly. Brooke Darwood in particular helped us in what could have been a very stressful time, especially as we have no prior rental history in the UK and are not familiar with the UK rental process. Brooke was super friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions immediately. The online procedures in place were easy to follow and meant that we were able to have everything verified and confirmed in super quick time, from first viewing the flat to moving in only took 8 days. Beware renting from Cluttons, poor maintenance and unfair deposit deductions in my experience. We rented through Cluttons for just under 3 years. During that time we had several long-running issues:, The water tank had to be replaced three times after contractors damaged it, causing leaks into the flat below and leaving us without hot water for extended periods., A significant roof leak took over 9 months to repair. This led to mould and part of the ceiling collapsing. It was eventually fixed, but around a year passed between us first reporting the problem and it being fully resolved. Despite this, we always paid our rent on time, never threatened to withhold rent, and remained polite and cooperative throughout. When we moved out, we were presented with a £648 deduction from our deposit. We had the flat professionally cleaned by a cleaner we’ve used for around five years, and we also repainted. The check-out report flagged the oven and shower head as needing additional cleaning. We were then told an “emergency clean” had been carried out for around £300, and that cleaning pigeon mess from the very small balcony would cost about £348, together totalling £648. In my view these charges are excessive and disproportionate to the work required, and I did not feel they reflected the true condition of the property at check-out. We are now taking the matter to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) dispute resolution service. Based on our experience, I would urge prospective tenants to think carefully before renting through Cluttons.

We recently completed on the sale of our flat and got great service, as always, from Cluttons and George. They are always so courteous and professional and their comms is second to none. George kept us up to date with even the smallest development throughout the whole process and all queries or issues were dealt with extremely promptly. When our first buyer fell through they were super quick to re-market the property and secure a second buyer. We have bought and sold with them several times over the years (decades?) and never been let down or disappointed. Highly recommended.

Alexandre Chapalain was very prompt in responding to queries and organising viewings, and allowed me as much time in the flat as I needed before putting in an offer.
