Horrendous company - rented a property from them in Manchester and were screwed over completely. Charged our deposits for unreasonable things and then left bad referencing for next flat. I would advise anyone considering renting with CityZEN to stay away. You will ultimately be taken advantage of by typical letting agents!

Called up in regards to a property being advertised- I asked if the property was still available- to which she answered "No, its gone, Bye" and ended the call. Rented a place for 2 years with Cityzen, and found them to be professional, fair and attentive. Danny in particular was fantastic: there were some problems with Utilities and the Housing Association that were no fault of Cityzen, but I couldn't have resolved them without Dannys support. Also very fair and reasonable when moving out, and when needing a reference letter. I have no hesitation recommending Cityzen

I would like to recommend this estate agency. People who work there would go the extra mile to complete their task. The owners of this agency take great care of all the trusted them properties being rented out. They use top class professional designers to refurbish their properties to the highest standards. They conduct their business with no delays and are honest and nice people.

Absolutely abysmal company. 6 months with a broken door and window, left us with furniture stained and riddled with bed bugs and failed to resolve, unsuitable plumbing fixtures leading to reoccurring floods. Waiting for responses days and even weeks at a time, aloof manners when telephoning for updates. Then when leaving the property in a better condition then when arrived they charge for a cleaning fee (with no invoice provided) that was promised to other tenants viewing the property, however upon reading the report they highlighted points in the original inventory. So this begs the question, was there a professional clean prior to moving in or does this company pride itself in taking advantage of its tenants to line their pockets at any given opportunity?NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

AVOID AT ALL COSTS- Unprofessional and from my experience, I get the feeling that they will try to con you at each stage, whether that be referencing fees or even the professional clean. Also, I'd be cautious of any fake reviews left by family and friends. Honestly, for your own sanity- Do not fall for the sales pitch their team!

Stay away. Once rented out a property that was vandalised by previous tenants before they moved out. Cityzen took no actions whatsoever - had to find my landlord on facebook and contact directly to get the property fixed.

Avoid at all costs. Unfortunate that the property agents are great to work with(Adriana and Heinz), but they are pulled down by the company's poor standards and integrity. Jeremy Maddison, MD at CityZEN and also the one in charge of accounts, was always quick to seize any opportunity to charge extra fees, but always slow when he had to handle something he was responsible for, such as the return of Deposit (2 Weeks late without any reply inbetween to emails/nor any apology for the late payment!) Can you believe that this is the standard coming from a MD of CityZEN? I hope this shows what the culture at the firm is like and for any prospective tenants/landlords who want to engage cityzen to highly reconsider.

Worst agency I have ever worked with. Although they may seem fine at first don’t be fooled! As soon as we signed a contract for 6 months they showed their true colours. Unprofessional and shamelessly take money that isn’t theirs. Do not take anything from them for your own good!
