Trustpiloti am a tenant in one of the properties…
i am a tenant in one of the properties managed by chestertons in London. They are the worst when i comes to providing service to the tenant or helping tenants cordinate with landlords. even minor repair works which are urgent and impact the living conditions in flats managed by them takes months not weeks. Extremely unhappy with them and their office in Isle of dogs and would ensure neither I nor anyone i know use them as agents in the future!

The worst agency we have ever came across. Each time we call them, they tell us a property has already been let (a week ago, few days ago etc). When questioned how is that possible as the advert has only came out they respond it was let off the market- why put the add on the website then? Absolute waste of time, every single time.

GoogleAfter struggling to generate interest in our flat we switched to marketing it through Chestertons. There was a noticeably sharp increase in interest, and all we had changed was the agent. Chestertons are aggressive in marketing properties and this got a lot more people through the door. They were often there without much interest but Chestertons convince them to give properties a go - drawing on their substantial list of clients to show a range of properties. It was through this that they found our buyer. Will was professional, knowledgeable and assertive in getting the sale pushed through against a massive amount of external obstacles. He always had a mind on making sure the deal was robust and we completed our sale at a most challenging time in the market due to the COVID surge and stamp duty holiday. GoogleWe selected Chestertons out of all the other agents because they have the biggest market share, a top sales team and are great at communicating and providing customers with what they want. We instantly hit it off with Scott who is experienced, personable and professional and we knew he would deliver what he had promised. We weren't wrong- Scott and his team sold our flat in a matter of days at asking price and subsequently when we found our next property they have helped us push it on to achieve the stamp duty holiday in a matter of weeks. Totally unprofessional service form lettings and property management team in SW13 area. Outstanding repairs and maintenance in the flat since move-in date 5 weeks ago as well as work not being done albeit promised before moving in and also listed in the contract. Too many people involved and no-one is owning up, taking responsibility.

We understand your concerns and want to assure you that we’ve been actively working to address the issues raised.After your move-in on 11th January, we promptly addressed the concerns you raised on the 15th January and instructed our contractor, CPS, to provide a quote on 17th January. CPS arranged a visit with you for 21st January. We received their quote the next day which was immediately forwarded to the landlord for approval. Unfortunately, there was a delay in receiving a response from the landlord, and we continued to follow up. We are pleased to confirm that minor repairs were completed by an engineer on 14th February, and the remaining repairs are scheduled to be completed today. We have kept you updated throughout this process and will continue to do so until all outstanding issues are resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience, as we work to ensure everything is completed to a high standard. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further concerns.
