UPDATE: We were informed that everything had been signed to move in to a new property. Then under 2 weeks before our move in date we were informed that the landlord never in fact signed and we wouldn't be able to move in leaving us without a flat (and the previous call reassuring us everything was sorted with the contracts was a lie). We were then told they would support us with finding a new property as soon as possible but they didn't do anything of use. Very disappointing service. Giorgio was always very helpful and helped us secure our flat with ease. He was easily contactable and answered all my questions fast which made it a much less stressful experience than I’ve had in the past. So far has been a great experience and Giorgio has added to that by being great.

Thanks for Making my Experience a Positive one!

My experience with the Chiswick office/Chestertons South West Lettings has been very positive. As a new landlord, I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of administrative tasks involved. However, Chesterton's has been very supportive throughout the entire process, addressing immediately (and patiently) any questions or concerns I may have had. Chesterton's platform also helped to minimise the number of email exchanges and provided a one-stop shop where I could request, review and/or approve documents - very efficient. I would like to thank in particular Nikki, who is very professional in her approach, helpful and obviously very knowledgable about the lettings market in Chiswick. Cynthia helped to calm my nerves in the initial stages - she explained the process and reassured me that it will all run smoothly. Thanks to Melissa for finding tenants in such a short space of time. Chesterton SW Lettings, a job well executed

Chesterton SW Lettings team on Battersea Rise were excellent with the recent letting instruction for my two-bed flat in Clapham. Within a window of three days, the team found the right tenants who met the criteria that I had given. The whole team is an absolute pleasure to deal with, professional through and through. Lead by Gary Noone, an experienced and knowledgeable agent, who understands the market, appreciates the important issues for landlords and tenants, not shy in striking the right balance for both sides and, at the same time, willing to be commercial. Gary and his team were completely hand-on in guiding me through the steps in the process making it a much more seamless exercise than it would have been otherwise.Chesterton also handled another letting instruction for us in the South Bank SE1 recently. We found their processes and approach in general much more efficient than those by other agencies by a long distance. Happy to recommend Chesterton SW Lettings to others.

From starting to find flat in and around the Barnes area, Chestersons and in particular Sebastian, was very accommodating, listened to our needs throughout and ended up showing us a lovely flat which we have been in for, for over 6 months now. I found a short term house for my…

I found a short term house for my client via Chestertons -Hyde Park- by Mark and Stephanie. All was great at the beginning till the agreement. The customer paid the invoice amount and sent them the proof of payment.Since the customer made an international payment from another country, it would took a few days for them to receive the invoice amount (rent and deposit). So they told it doesn’t secure yet for them and I made a prepayment £1000 since they said they will send that amount just after they receive the customer's payment. I trusted them since they look a big company in the sector. They received the payment but they said they will send my money after check in date (31.07.2021). I trusted them again. From the checkin date till today (09.08.2021, 10 days passed), they are in contact with account department but no result! This morning I contacted with Stephanie, and she said that the invoice amount calculated wrong by a mistake (about £500), so now they can’t send my payment back yet! My contract with client is already over and I shouldnt spent my extra hours now to solve their mistakes with the tenants and plus they put an embargo on my money??? after they confirmed they are paying today, tomorrow etc each time I contacted with them.Still waiting for the payment. And stuck in a bad position for ten days now because of trusted their clarification. And they put me in a worse situation instead of finding a solution with the tenant themselves and not paying still!!!

DO NOT RENT/BUY PROPERTY WITH THEM!

Terrible. I cannot emphasise enough how dismissive Chesterston has been toward our moving process. They don't reply to our multiple emails and when they do, the answers are inconclusive and no actions are taken toward our requests. Although it says in our contract the deposit reimbursement would occur in 10 days after moving out, it has been four months without getting our money back. DO NOT RENT/BUY PROPERTY WITH THEM.

Had a really good experience

Had a really good experience thanks to a really great estate agents, my Matthew Gwyer. Other estate agents had made us feel like they weren't listening to what we were looking for and just trying to push us towards something that we didn't want but Matthew was the opposite.Also appreciated not having to go through the process of confirming with bank detail and then waiting for the landlord to "choose" who they wanted to go with. Feels like just another way to give all the power to the landlord and leave the renters out to dry. But Chestertons were the only estate agent we dealt with that didn't do this which made all the difference.

The team at Chestertons, Pimlico, helped me to terminate a contract with a tenant, sort out the mess they'd left, and then find another tenant. Alina Alexa and James Hall were especially helpful; James addressed all my questions with patience and understanding and Alina helped me follow through some tricky negotiations. Fool me once, shame on Chesterton

We used Chesterton Chiswick 2 years ago and that was a sour experience but we thought it's the staff who disappointed us, not Chesterton. January 2025 we let out flat thru Chesterton Fulham.. thinking, different branch, different team.. which was the biggest mistake we've ever done so far. but this time we thought that its our fault. Chesterton fooled us once and we said "shame on you Chesterton"This time, we made the mistake by using them again and bitten once more. This time shame on us.Company structured itself around screwing anyone on its path, tenant or landlord, doesn't matter. Well this is not an end.. we will take hem to Ombudsman first and then to court...

I've just moved to London from another country and found a flat (in my country we called them apartments) with the help of Ronan Rigney and his colleagues at this office. The letting ("rental") process can be quite complex if you're not a British national and Ronan and the team were very kind and patient with my many questions; in the end I got a lovely flat that I'm quite happy with.
