GoogleA great estate agent with senior staff who know what they are doing. We sold and ended up buying through Chesterstons East Sheen. Amy and Alex were remarkable from start to finish and they took most of the stress and hassle out of buying and selling our houses. Professional from the start and throughout a long six month search for our dream property, they were just brilliant and I can't buy highly recommend them. The team in the office were always friendly and did their job in a professional way. We were glad we went with them.
What we particularly liked about both Amy and Alex was that they were senior and experienced and they didn't just get our business and pass on to some junior estate agent, they stuck with us from start to finish. You can't beat them!

I had a friend viewing flats on my behalf while I was out of the country and so I was very clear with Kate Bennett that I only wanted him to take time out of his day for me if the flat met my exact specifications as I can't waste his time. She tells me about this flat in Mortlake that has stunning floor to ceiling windows and bright light, the listing looked suitable so I said great and sent my friend over to see that one and another flat as well... On the day, Kate sends a colleague to do the viewing with zero knowledge of a second viewing (so it didn't take place) and then the property with stunning windows turns out to have huge scaffolding up the entire building blocking any trace of sunlight or view whatsoever! It wasn't recent either, it had been there for months and was anticipated to be there for 9 more months!! What a waste of time! Kate never even bothered to follow up afterwards or anything.

After investigating this with the team, we are aware that your viewing was arranged based on an initial enquiry from you. Due to covid protocol and to ensure the health and safety of your friend, it was deemed necessary for another member of our team to attend. In regards to the scaffolding, we can confirm that this was only put in place a week before your viewing, not months as suggested.
Unfortunately, the reason you did not receive a follow up from us was because you had unsubscribed from our database straight after the viewing. This is a legal procedure we have to follow if someone requests for their details to be removed from our systems.

GoogleSpoke to uptight Matthew Genders. He was extremely snooty and rude. Refused to pass my offer to Vendors. I replied, don't you as agents have a duty to forward all offers. THE VENDOR DECIDES. He replied, " that's not how we do things. That's not the way to get any help from us. I don't know who you are..
I had emailed full contact details and talked to him to arrange valuation of my flat. He just repeated we don't work in that way.
What on earth does that mean???? I will be forwarding complaint to head office
If you want an agent to pick and choose who may view and make offers on your property choose Chestertons .
