The manager Matthew Genders valued my flat and made a good first impression with his knowledge and confidence in the local SW14 market. Once I instructed Chestertons, Henry Maloney carried out viewings and was always prompt with feedback. I recently had to sell our home. We had bought the house through Chestertons so I decided to use them to sell the house. It was absolutely the right decision. All the team, but especially Henry, Matthew and Kelly, were so helpful and always on the end of the phone when I called, and they also stayed in contact with the agent selling the house I was buying to make sure everything matched up. They have great local knowledge and a fantastic base of prospective buyers, it was someone they contacted who bought the house in the end. They arranged a good number of viewings, and I know they tried hard to be available when people wanted to see the house. I know from my own experience of looking at other houses in the area that this isn't always the case, especially the internet based agents. I know there is a move to put more estate agents online, but for me, for such an important transaction, having a local agent, who I could call or pop in and see when I had a question or needed help, was fantastic. If I ever have to sell my new house, I would definitely chose Chestertons again.

Chestertons were really great to deal with as a purchaser. We worked with Henry who understood what we were looking for and alerted us to appropriate properties, not just any property coming onto the market. When you spend weeks on end looking at houses it helps to have an agent who is showing you houses that are in line with your needs and Henry did this, grasping what our needs were really early on in our search.
