We have had lots of experience with estate agents Between the Commons, and Chelwood Partners are certainly by far and away the best. Rupert, Ben and Gemma know the market incredibly well, and offer sensible and realistic advice for both sales and lettings. They are incredibly proactive about getting viewers through the door, and as a result of that, Gemma was able to let our flat immediately which we are immensely grateful for. We have never rented out a property before, but Gemma and the team made it completely hassle free, and went through everything we needed to do. Can’t recommend Chelwood enough. Thank you!

I used Chelwood Partners on the recent sale of my house in Ellerton Road, Wandsworth. My decision to go with a smaller agency was amply rewarded with the result produced. Rupert, Gemma and Ben performed superbly in locating a buyer, quickly securing a good and fair price on a complex transaction in a difficult market, and subsequently engaging tenaciously with all parties to get the transaction across the line. The whole team was enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented and constantly accessible throughout the process. Rupert in particular was pragmatic and diplomatic in resolving issues, such that no parties involved felt bruised. The full service Chelwood Partners provided was particularly important to me as I live outside London, and was unwilling to contemplate an estate agent who viewed their job as complete once a price had been agreed. In short, a superb performance and a happy client! I would unhesitatingly recommend Rupert and Chelwood Partners to anyone in the Wandsworth/Clapham area looking for a personalised, comprehensive and efficient service on their property sale. We viewed homes and ultimately rented one where Chelwood acted as both the rental agent and manager. In the past, we've not always had good experiences with managed properties/services, but Chelwood has really stood out. They are a professional, independent business with great people who properly understand family and homeowners lives and needs in London - really a differentiation from high street groups. Very involved in the local schools and family networks, which we and others living here appreciate and respect. From the process of viewing the home and moving in, to promptly helping us deal with anything that has come up while we’ve been living in the home, they have been great.

There's a difference between a local business like Chelwood and a mainstream estate agent. First of all, at Chelwood you're dealing with experienced professionals who know and even live in the area. They avoid the hard sell, and they can help, efficiently, through the whole process of buying, facilitating the many tasks involved. Also, you know they're going to be around - the same people you dealt with - for a long time thereafter. In our case, they were extremely helpful in discovering the area, explaining the process, and putting us in contact with people who could help. I think they were great.

I bought my house through CP and it was easy from beginning to end because they have such great experience and communication skills. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they were genuinely thrilled for me when it all went smoothly. It's hard to imagine a better team to get you through what is well documented to be one of life's more stressful events. Through Chelwood's three partners you benefit from a huge amount of industry experience, but their USP is their personal touch.
