GoogleDoug Paterson was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire moving process. Absolutely outstanding and excellent to deal with. Doug was polite, attentive, responded promptly to enquiries and was brilliant at knitting the process together and helped make sure sellers and buyers stayed on track. We can’t recommend Doug and the firm highly enough. Thank you for all your help. We would certainly use Chattertons again.

Doug was so helpful and I knew I could rely on him to sort out any issues that arose. GoogleWe brought a house that was being sold by Chattertons and Doug and team were all amazing for us. There were a few hold ups and delays in the process further up the chain, but they went over an above to keep us informed (making up for the shortcomings of our solicitor) and were chasing estate agents further up the chain to get as much info as possible and keep things moving. They made the whole process so much easier. They were very patient with us constantly calling and asking for updates when really they worked for the seller not us.

GoogleDoug and his team helped us sell & purchase a house 13 years ago, we were very happy with their service. When it was time to sell and buy another house again, we had no hesitation in asking Doug again to sell our property with Chattertons. Doug and his team have yet again given excellent service in selling our property and buying another one. Even though there were complications in both selling and buying, Doug was on hand to sort out various problems and kept all parties informed of what was happening. GoogleWould highly recommend Mike & his team at Chattertons. We began our journey by meeting Mike who guided & advised us so went on by letting our property with them where Janet looked after us, what a lovely lady. She handled absolutely everything from start to finish & was extremely helpful, friendly & professional, the whole process ran smoothly & was totally stress free . We then went on to sell our property where Mike was bombarded with viewings & in just one day lead to sale of the property! Tracy then looked after us throughout the sale process, another lovely lady. Again extremely helpful, friendly & professional giving us regular updates & always on hand. Nothing was too much trouble, great communication, first class service a massive thank you to you all!

We moved house in Jan after 8 months of difficulties.. Thankfully all properties in the chain were handled by Chattertons. They were brilliant: great folk to deal with, very proactive constantly working to move things forward, chasing solicitors, resolving problems, and generally keeping the whole chain together. Doug was fantastic, and the whole team great to deal with. The best estate agents I have ever come across or heard of - by a mile.

GoogleI was really happy with the customer service I received from Chatterton's estate agents in Footscray. Katie dealt with my purchase and she was really helpful and professional. She always responded to my queries promptly and this made the whole process feel alot less stressful. I was thrilled to receive a moving in package from the agents on the date of completion, the package contained several goodies. This was a lovely gesture and one I had not expected. GoogleI have used Chattertons for years, I bought my first house from them in 2003, and since then have never considered going anywhere else. Last June, I put a house on the market with Chattertons and as per my usual experience with Chattertons and Doug, everything went through smoothly. Doug and Katie were really professional and helpful throughout the whole process, from marketing the property, viewings and advising and updating throughout the whole process. Chattertons make what is generally one of the most stressful experiences in life relaxed and easy, even at times when things can feel slow and stressy, they are always there to reassure. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also rent properties with Chattertons and appreciate the time that Janet and Tracy have for me with all my questions. Finally, my house completed when Chattertons were closed due to Covid, but Mike and Doug had organised for keys to be picked up from an alternative address during a really difficult time for them. Thank you Chattertons.

We asked for multiple viewings given the size of the house and the surrounding plot and the fact that we needed to bring in our builders for viewings. Mike and Doug have been very flexible and patient in providing us access for longer appointments and I really appreciate their professional interest and commitment in this matter. When we had to make a late decision to put our own property on the market to but the current property Doug and Mike provided proper guidance, negotiated and managed the situation between us and the landlord to ensure both our interests are protected. Thanks a lot for Chattertons. Tracy was available on phone every time we had a query and responded to our calls very promptly. Very professional and lovely people to work with.

GoogleI wanted to provide feedback on my very positiive experience using Chattertons Estate Agency when I sold my old house and with the purchase of my new property earlier this year (2021). I mostly dealt with Doug Paterson as the lead contact and the level of service I received was fantastic! Doug was incredibly proactive, professional, knowledgeable and when requried candid about the position I was in - he also worked outside of normal working hours on multiple occasions to get our sale and purchase over the line. The end outcome was that I was able to sell my house, and purchase a new property (that me and my family love) - and throughout the process we were very well managed and it was fairly painfree. I have recommended Chattertons to all of my friends who are looking to buy and sell in the area. Superb service!
