Chattertons Estate Agents…..brilliant!

I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! There is no way I could praise the team at Chattertons, particularly Doug, any higher and have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation.

Jen, Doug and the team were absolutely fantastic. From the day we thought about listing our property through to the day we moved into our new house, they were so supportive. I would recommend them to anyone. The thing that really made the difference was their proactivity - they were communicating with all the key parties very regularly, and were very cooperative with our solicitors and our buyers solicitors too. If there is a word for the "best customer service" and professionalism, it would be Chattertons. I was fortunate to have Doug help me sell my property. The sale was not straightforward. Lucy at Chattertons has been an absolute gem throughout the whole renting process 🏡✨ From start to finish, she’s been amazing, super helpful, endlessly patient, and just all-around wonderful. Let me start by saying I really dread interacting with estate agents and the whole moving experience, so Doug and his team had their work cut out from the outset......They delivered in spades despite all the curveballs that came our way, juggling everybody's expectations and outputs throughout. My house was sold at asking price within a week of agreeing terms and subsequently completed in less than the industry average time, leading closely up to Christmas as others were slowing down. I couldn't fault Doug or the team at Chattertons, they were proactive, professional and effective from start to finish, providing the right balance of support and reassurance. Most people see Estate Agents as a one hit wonder. I have to say that my experience with Chattertons has completely changed my opinion on this.
