Chase Evans has been a really unprofessional and not understanding agency. The agents, maintenance staff and property managers are not great at communicating at all. Dealt with them for 3 years and every time I tried asking them to bring someone to fix something they had excuses as if I was lying that washing machine was broken and to one example they even told me you can try and put the drawers together to fix the chest of drawers.All they care is money and they are a real rip off, they dont even speak to landlords but make decisions for them and thats pathetic.They let properties to people with drug issues who dont pay rent for years and they dont do checks at all properly, and those tenants then have to live in the same building with people like us who have a job and pay rent regularly but same time get treated by this agency as if we was trash.Landlords should avoid letting their places with them if you dont want your property to be destroyed like some I have seen in my neighbourhood.They increase the rental prices with no sense of adjustment just because the market is high but the properties are never being maintained so you pay for an old flat something that you could pay for a new renovated property.The check-out process is handled at the worst way possible, the check-in report with check-out report don’t correspond to the slightest and they add fees for stuff without even considering them as wear and tear.So disappointing

Changing the request to 4. I had the customer team reaching out and sorted out the refund process. It had been delated to the action from the Owner end, thereby moving the rating from 3 to 4 Let me begin with the positives.Excellent onboarding , quick turnaround , clear communication , fantastic renewals team. I thoroughly enjoyed their services and support during the tenure.All these positives until you are a client. Once you vacate and move, all the above fails.I had used their service for approx 4.3 years since Nov 2019 to Mar 2024. Rented 2 Bed Flat. I had handed over the keys on 4 Mar, used the cleaning services supplier as advised by them ( Expensive one £450 for end of cleaning tenancy ) to aid the move process swiftly. The flat was occupied by next tenant on 7 Mar.However my deposit amount is still not refunded and no responses on the emails. Left out cold & hanging in the air. So be mindful and plan to wait ages to get the deposit refund.

My friend and I rented a property through Chase&Evans for almost 2 years and just recently moved out. Max Watson, our property manager, has gone above and beyond throughout our tenancy. His communication and the effort he puts in is easily a 10/10. As tenants, we consistently felt that our concerns were addressed with care and professionalism. Catarina did a great job in handling my deposit refund issue upon my lease termination. She responded to emails promptly and was able to explain that the delay in processing was mainly due to the landlord's lack of response. When I provided evidence and raised objections to the deductions requested by the landlord, Catarina also promptly expressed understanding and offered her follow-up suggestions.While many department heads at Chase Evans couldn't provide good communication and professional assistance, Catarina managed to improve my impression of this company somewhat.

I compared multiple agencies and this one has a reasonable price. The service has been great, which is good for international landlords. I basically don’t have to worry about anything. Noel Ng, my building manger is professional and highly dependable. She manages to chase the money back for the heating and hot water bills from my previous tenants (it was a 1000 pounds).
