TrustpilotAVOID. They will try and steal your deposit based on fake charges.
Dealt with agent Deena Kneafsey at CBRE residential London. Their behaviour has always been misleading, disingenuous and non transparent. They will try and steal your deposit. They will make up extra cleaning charges, fake repairs, and missing items to keep as much as they can, even if the check out report does not show anything wrong.

GoogleI spent lots of time with letting agents in looking for a six-month rental in London. CBRE got it right and found me the perfect place. It took a few tries but Lydia figured out what I wanted. And best of all the CBRE team that managed the apartment was responsive, cooperative and friendly -- many thanks to Mila and Ludmila. I hope I get to rent through CBRE again. Thanks team.

TrustpilotTHEY STOLE MY DEPOSIT
They stole my holding deposit only because i didn’t want to use open banking which is completely my choice whether i would like to use it or not. Although had choices of using open banking or uploading documents my reference was failed. Real estate agent told me that “we can’t refund your deposit back because landlord spent for the repairs of the flat” which doesn’t make sense as he spent for his flat,not for me. Legally they have to refund my deposit when referencing is failed they didn’t refund my deposit. Stay away!

GoogleNever use this agency. I’ve been living with a leak for 4 years which has never been fixed even thought I’ve been bombarding them with emails and calls non stop. Yesterday they decided to go into my apartment when I explicitly said no when they asked for my permission. They decided to cut a hole in my ceiling and that’s what I have to live with now. During that time they ruined my expensive jacket and broke my robot vacuum. No one wants to take responsibility or reimburse me. Nor have I been provided with an alternative living arrangement because the flat is borderline uninhabitable. They are fully breaching the contract clauses so never believe a thing that is stated in your contract. They will just ignore them and do whatever pleases them. Would give 0 stars if I could. STAY AWAY!

GoogleWould give 0 if I could. Liars and clueless. I dealt with; George Gray Chloe Towns Ash Wilmot Richard Smart Geraldine Mash My offer was agreed, terms of the tenancy agreement agreed. I paid the holding deposit. References passed but took nearly three weeks, even though I was paying upfront. Completely unnecessary for them to take this long. They also put my girlfriend onto the tenancy agreement as a tenant even though I specifically asked them not to as she wasn’t paying for it. They said yes to this face to face then they did it anyway. Then they made us do referencing for my girlfriend which made the process take forever. Why? She wasn’t paying for anything? Pathetic. Then the landlord decided to accept another offer, even though we had already agreed everything and therefore have a tenancy agreement in place. We now have one week to find a new property and have had to inform our current landlord we can’t move out on the agreed date. Huge amount of stress and anxiety caused and it’s put me at a loss financially. CBRE offered no solutions. No alternative accommodation recommendations, nothing. They are completely useless, constantly lie and now they won’t refund the holding deposit of £700. They’re telling me I need to supply them with proof the bank account is mine to get a refund. Isn’t my passport, driving licence, three months worth of bank statements and a literal video of my bank account with all details visible enough for you? I’ve had to start court action against them as they don’t respond to anything meaningfully, just empty platitudes. They said they would send me a letter via email to respond to my court claim today. Guess what? They lied about that too! Still in the dark, no solutions, constant lies. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

GoogleTerrible estate agents from start to finish. I rented a property in London via CBRE and lived there for almost 5 years. Our move in was a mess - the property was not cleaned despite an agreement that it will be professionally cleaned. We did not have hot water for several days after moving in. Any maintenance issues which occurred during our tenancy were not fixed, for example a leaking shower door was never replaced, despite many visits from handyman's / engineers who confirmed it needs replacing. They do not care about you as a tenant. When moving out, the agency completely ignores your requests to return the deposit or at least provide inventory check out report. Full ignorance. Avoid.

GoogleI have worked with Sophie for 2 years. She is professional and helpful. Every time, when I wanna move apartment and asks her, she can always show me a lot of properties that satisfy my requirement. Besides, she is really patient and polite when doing the work.
