I have known Sandro and the team at Castles for over fifteen years, during which time they sucessfully negotiated purchases for friends of mine, so they were the go-to choice when it came to putting my own flat for sale. To my amazement Sandro managed to secure an offer from the first viewer in what is widely considered a stagnant market, thanks to his perfect understanding of the area and his skill at matching potential buyer to property. Despite the chain having run into difficulty over legal technicalities, the sale was completed with no drop in price in just over four months - I would have no hesitation in recommending Castles if you are thinking of selling in Crouch End.

We chose them because they clearly had a lot of knowledge of the immediate area (lots of Castles signs nearby), and we were impressed with Sandro when he came to do the valuation - as well as extensive local knowledge he had good ideas about strategy, and just seemed like a nice person to deal with. Sandro took care of the sale and was very professional, personable, and reliable, and quick and clear in responding to questions. We felt that it was not just 'another sale' to him but that he was trying his utmost to get the best deal possible for us while being fair to all parties. We had total confidence in him and were sure he would get a good price for our property - which he did. He was a pleasure to deal with, as were Abraham and Colin too at the Crouch End office. We first contacted Castles along with two other agents in 2012. After the first meeting our inclination was to go with Castles. This was cemented when we needed some historical valuations on the property and Abraham was the only agent who went to the trouble of helping with this information. Not able to proceed with the sale between 2012 - 2016, we asked Castles for recommendations for professionals and trades people and other general advice. Again, without any guarantee that they would eventually receive our business they were happy to help. Once on the market the sale took just under a year, with two near exchanges failing at the eleventh hour due to issues beyond our and Castles control. Abraham very professionally handled our (and his) disappointment and quickly got us back on track. Finally, He was able to solve the inevitable last minute hassles before exchange and completion.
