We had such a great experience with Carter Jonas Wandsworth. From the start dealing with Chattie who did the initial house viewing with us to then dealing with Izzie who facilitated the offer and lease. Anytime we had questions or concerns, Izzie would assist us in a very quick and friendly manner. The process felt smooth and made our house move that much less stressful and more enjoyable. Such a professional team of people and lovely to have worked with.

Carter Jonas have been really helpful guiding me through my first experience of renting a property in London. Our advisor is Grace who has been fantastic throughout the process so far, she is really responsive to emails and calls and has patiently walked me through the different processes that come with renting a property, as well as answering any questions I have. As a landlord in Fulham for 36 years, I have used a variety of lettings agents, including Sullivan Thomas before they became Carter Jonas. I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of the Carter Jonas team (Igor, Sam, Zoltan and Ana). Everything from their cheerful phone manner, to finding a good tenant and conducting references, was top notch. As I live abroad, it is important for me to trust that my property is in good hands. What a mess in administration and blame…

A MESS in administration, making FALSE statements and BLAME the tenant in bad attitude!!!, , , Barnes branch. Two staff called to reserve a time separately for future tenant to come to viewing (They asked me to remove their names (The Associate Partner and the Assistant), not sure they were afraid of anything. But it’s fine for me as the fact that here is true.).The viewing was fine to me. But one day before the viewing one staff called and expressed no viewing on that day and asked for another day. It was also fine to me. Then another senior staff called and BLAMED and SCOLDED at me about the cancellation in BAD attitude and ARGUED with me. She was the senior staff of this company. Why the staff do NOT have any compromised before making arrangements? Why the senior staff use such BAD attitude to customer and not clarify that their staff was the one to cancel ???? Then they made up another story and called the landlord that I was not co-operate. What a nonsense and FALSE statement!!!!It’s their staffs fault and keep accusing others without any feeling sorry. I will keep to complain to outsider independence organisation if your company keep continuing to make false statements and accuse me like this.NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

We’re very happy with the service we received from Carter Jonas and especially Georgie. We contacted her about a specific property we liked. She was very friendly and patient, arranged several viewings of the property and answered to all the questions we had until we decided to rent it. We appreciated that she didn’t put any pressure on us, it was a stress free process. She then helped us during the offer phase and was very reassuring and transparent when there were some unforeseen delays. Signing the contract was very easy and convenient, it was done electronically so we didn’t need to visit the office or be away from work. Georgie was still available and helped us after the tenancy contract was signed until we got the keys. After that she has still been available but has put us in touch with her colleagues at Carter Jonas who have always been available to help. We highly recommend Carter Jonas.

Terrible service and poor communication

Several things went wrong when trying to sell my apartment.The person that was responsible for selling my apartment left the company. They didn't tell me anything. I only got to know this when I contacted the office 1 month after my apartment was listed and I hadn't heard anything thus far.A second point was that I was promised by the agent that they would clean my apartment for free. In the end all they did was vacuum cleaning the bedroom carpet. The rest they then claimed it was a misunderstanding. Does cleaning an apartment means cleaning one carpet only?Finally, they gave my name to several viewers. Who then found me online and contacted me directly. Is it even legal to reveal my personal details to prospective buyers for no reason? GDPR anyone?I ended up switching to another agent. Communication was really bad, and I think that's the base for trust. But trust had been violated already when they fooled me with the promises of cleaning the apartment.EDIT: I sent an email to the address provided by Carter Jonas below but they never replied. These comments here on Truspilot are probably just automatic bots. They couldn't care less about what went wrong.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Been waiting since we moved in (9 months) to have a window fixed with zero compensation. We’re paying extra utilities all winter because a window won’t close. I call up about blocked drains and the response I get is not ‘I’m really sorry all your drains are blocked let us get someone out to check out what’s going on and maybe try stop your gardens flooding’ but instead they say ‘we can get someone there but if you’re putting random stuff down the drain you’re paying for it’Customer service is shocking and they appear now to care at all or trust the people that pay them every month. It’s been so hard to get anything fixed by them half the time it’s been easier to just fix it myself than even try and raise the issue.

I DO NOT Recommend Carter Jonas

I used Carter Jonas to sell my house in North Yorkshire - found them to be very very poor and slippery - strongly recommend you avoid them. The contract they use is unfair - it appears to be infinitely long and had key termination clause info missing. Their valuation "expert" at one point was trying to run backwards suggesting I reduce HIS suggested asking price by £100k. In the end, I did sell the house for much closer to the asking price. When a buyer was found they repeatedly told me it was a short chain with a cash buyer which was a lie. Often avoided replying to my emails, avoiding my calls and not returning calls (In a meeting, on holiday, off sick etc). I also discovered that they chose not to tell me about other interested buyers and had not let them view the property while it was under offer. RECOMMENDATION : AVOID
