Terrible communication. Do not action what there customer has agreed with them. Do what they want to do after telling them and agreeing next steps. Really late at returning your deposits and holding on to your money. Lack of communication and waiting days if not weeks for responses. Always say call back and don't. If you have an issue with your property the emergency out of hours phone line will not answer there phones. Don't compensate you for having to leave the property due to flooding and boiler blowing up and having to stay in hotel. You may want to seek another estate agent.

Having used Carter Jonas for a few years renting out my property, I've now changed and would never go back to them. I've had poor service consistently especially when a tenant checks out. The diligence and attention is woefully lacking. Keys lost, damage not logged, poor check out service. Tradesmen hired that do a poor job and charge silly money for doing little. Poor monitoring of tenants. Seldom been happy and glad I've switched.

GoogleUniquely capable - We sold our house with Carter Jonas, after failing with 3 other local agents. Isabelle was the only agent who ever gave us a genuine answer, when we asked for advice on any changes before putting it on the market. She was the only agent to do genuine research and analysis, before recommending a market price. She was enthusiastic, but realistic from the outset. And while they got lucky with finding our buyer, Jamie was the only agent who successfully guided the offer through the sale process. He was always responsive and proactive and very pleasant to deal with. We’re very grateful to Carter Jonas for their help and support, and we’d gladly recommend them for any future sale, especially in the recent, uncertain market.

GoogleWe would like to thank Isabelle, Jamie and Janine for an incredible job in selling my grand mothers house in Tooting. Isabelle was the first agent we saw and we had no reason to see anyone else afterwards - we felt she would look after our buyers to a very high standard, as much as us. Jamie made a huge effort in not only securing a lovely buyer for the house but also leading a complex sales progression progress (no fault of Carter Jonas or our buyers) into a completion which was looking very tough at times. I have no doubt that other agents and indeed the internet-based agent crowd would of made a thorough mess of this situation. But not Jamie! We also used a decorator recommended by Carter Jonas who also did the correct job at the correct budget for us. We have no hesitation in recommending Carter Jonas to anyone in the area and if the situation arises, would love to work with them again.

Untrustworthy, lazy, never call back as promised and two weeks before our move into a rental property, having sold our house, our tenancy application was cancelled. We had agreed to pay a year up front, take the property as soon as it was available and met every demand such as the credit checks etc. But a worker in Carter Jonas decided not to try to make the deal go through for whatever undisclosed reasons she may have had. My advice would be if you want a roof over your head don’t go anywhere near Carter Jonas.

Worst renting experience of my life.I can go on and on about our awful experience with this branch of Carter Jonas but I don't want to waste any more of my life with this lot so I’ll try to keep it brief, factual and informative. (Also if you look at trust pilot and see the ratio between good and bad reviews, the number of reviews people that rated 5* have left and also read some of the reviews, its clearly incentivised to leave a good review, my opinion).If anyone would like the FULL detail, please get in contact with me and I’m happy to show you everything I have and explain in detail.From day 1 it seemed like this branch of Carter Jonas were against us. They were never on our side when it came to the numerous amount of disputes we had with the landlords property - the landlord even slipped up and told us how Pauline (an associate at Carter Jonas) was pulling the strings on some of the disputes we had, advising the landlord to just shrug us off (might have been just pushing away the blame).Move-in was horrible, the place was disgusting, rubbish left in the garden, broken cabinets, lights, holes in the walls, unclean, dead animals and insects and lots, LOTS more. We were simply brushed away when we complained about the condition of the property time and time again, however we made sure to take as many pictures as we could and save all the emails as we knew Carter Jonas and the Landlord would try their luck.When it finally came to leaving the dump, they decided to charge us over £700 for cleaning and damages. We admitted there were a few minor cleaning issues (couple of stains on the carpet, outside windows needed wiping, sink needed wiping, a few crumbs left on a counter etc.). The checkout was done by Jessica, a property manager, she failed to read the original inventory report and took pictures of problems PRE-DATING our tenancy! She also failed to read the numerous emails we sent complaining about the state of the property which we later used as proof that the problems were already there before we moved in! To add insult to injury Carter Jonas decided to pay over £400 for a full house clean when the cleaning problems could have been fixed by a professional cleaner in a matter of 30 minutes.Now clearly I’m biased but we disputed this £700 with TDS, I have a report from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) adjudicator which backs our case and everything I’ve said, in the end we got almost £500 back from TDS. Okay im rambling now.. here's the facts:In our 1 year tenancy we experienced; 1 dodgy fuse box 2 major leaks3 hundred holes in the house4 billion spores of mould7 mice in the house20~ broken bits of furniture/fixingstons more stuff but ive spent enough time on this now

GoogleAs a first time buyer, I have found Carter Jonas to be extremely polite, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I have had contact and viewings with quite a number of estate agents and I can honestly say that Cater Jonas Wandsworth has stood out to me amongst all others. Jamie Limbert was my primary contact for Sales, but I had contact with other members of the branch too both in person and via the telephone. Never pushy, always constructive, and keen to help. If you're a first time buyer, this Estate Agent is the perfect place to start. When I eventually found a house to place an offer on in a different area, the staff at the branch were very courteous and even continued to provide me with some helpful advice and reassurance. Exemplary from Jamie and the team - thank you, your branch help reinstate faith in an all too often marred profession. I would give 6 starts if I could.
