GoogleGenerally helpful agent and fairly responsive. I did have an issue with waiting for quite a long time for the return of my deposit after the end of tenancy, despite probing.

Hi Ben, I am so sorry that it has taken me over a month to respond to this review, I hadn’t spotted it. I don’t personally deal with deposits, as you know however I wish I had been made aware of the difficulties you were having. I would have most certainly tried to speed the process up. Delays are sometimes caused when dealing with deposits if either the Landlord or Tenant are proving difficult to get hold of, or is simply not confirming the deductions. We require both parties to be in agreement before any funds can be released. This was the issue we were having with your deposit. We didn’t have the authority to release it. I do hope we haven’t lost you as a client, it was a pleasure to deal with you throughout the tenancy. GoogleA great agency with the best properties! Buying our home wasn't straightforward and after terrible experiences with agencies, we decided to look exclusively with these guys. Thought it was impossible to find an honest, straightforward and genuinely nice estate agent but when we found Chris at Carter Jonas we were proven wrong. I wouldn't buy a house through anyone else in London.
