GoogleWe purchased a one bedroom flat through Butler and Stag. Although the process was drawn out this was not their fault and we really appreciated their persistance in finalising the deal. GoogleNever go with them. Bunch of useless people work in bow office. They took my flat fully management but they used to give us headaches for every single silly thing even for a £1 bath plug. They try to make money and charge landlords for any silly repairs. They basically take a full management fee but all they do is pass on all the headache to the landlord to answer so kindve defeats the purpose. Any landlords thinking of choosing them be warned. I thank god we have got rid of them finally....

EDIT: butler and stag have replied below atributing my review to losing to another prospective tenant, which indeed confirms the level of service is not great when an agency cannot find the correct data on their clients. I have been living in a property let and managed by them since 2018 and therefore have many examples of how their service to tenants has been negligent…

GoogleFrom walking in to their friendly office on Roman Road to renting a property though these guys I must say I’ve been impressed from start to finish. These guys are upfront in their approach and know their stuff. I viewed a property with a chap called Robert who gave me all the answers to my questions when showing me the pad. The referencing process was slick, I uploaded some basic information concerning myself and the referencing team dealt with all third parties within 2 days. I was able to e/sign the tenancy agreement at my own leisure, all my conditions were met and I’m now sitting in my place appreciating the ease of how I got here. Again little shout out to Robert and Casey who made the process a walk in the park.

I received excellent service and advice by Paul and Simon at Butler & Stag's Bow office to let a property. Simon found a client on the first day of viewings, arranged access to the property for repairs before the client moved in, and was also kind enough to move an item to the front porch to be taken away as I was unable to schedule it myself. Their property management team has continued to provide excellent service after the tenant moved in. I highly recommend the lettings team at Butler & Stag.

I've been renting out a property in Bow since May 2021. Every member of the B&S team I've dealt with has offered outstanding service. Their communication skills are excellent and all jobs are carried out efficiently, in a timely fashion. It's extremely rare to use a company and find that you have absolutely no complaints, but this is the case with B&S. This means that the whole experience has been stress free. I can confidently recommend them to any landlords present or future.

GoogleEstate agents can have a bad rep in this country but butler and stag completely tore apart that stereotype! Everyone I dealt with in the purchase of our new flat (Helga, Robert, Aiden) was professional, responsive, helpful and friendly. I felt they really went above and beyond to make the whole process run smoothly (and helped deal with some tricky solicitors.) I honestly couldn't recommend them enough, thank you!

GoogleThank you Michael for all your help... I sold my property in Bow with Butler and Stag and I cannot fault the team at all especially Michael... My situation was not as straight forward at all. I was faced with challenges and hurdles to overcome but Michael was very helpful, patient and understanding...He was very proactive on my behalf. Butler and Stag have great knowledge and experience within their field and contacts for all the unexpected problems one may endure e.g. contacts amongst skilled tradesman for energy performance certificates and gas safety certificate etc... Michael and his team were in regular contact with me which was very reassuring and nothing was a problem for them nothing at all... I can not recommend the Bow Office of Butler and Stag enough , although they might be slightly dearer than the next estate agent as the saying goes 'you only get what you pay for' which was a professional, excellent and friendly service . I called the company on two occasions and explained that I was interested in viewing the one bed Bungalow (Madells) which is currently on the sales market and left all of my details yet no one has had the courtesy of returning my call. Very disappointing service.

The seller (a developer) requested that the property be left available for sale, as the purchaser was progressing slower than reasonably expected. This was explained to you at the time. A day later the property exchanged and has subsequently completed. Apologies that it wasn't meant to be on this one, we will of course keep you posted with other suitable properties.
