I cannot thank Butler and Stag enough for the help in securing my first house with my wife. Tony was excellent in securing us early viewings to properties not yet on the market. He knew exactly what we wanted and found it, then despite the property being put up with a second agent, he still managed to secure us the deal. Once the offer was agreed, I was introduced to Helga, who made the whole sale process as smooth as possible. She was contactable at all times and was able to liaise with the sellers to ensure any queries we had were fully answered.

Butler and Stag - Always!

I have let my flat with one agent only. Why? Because I have never had cause to complain. Everything is communicated to me at the earliest opportunity by the Property Management Team. If I can’t get through to PM another member of Butler and Stag always picks up the phone and ensures it it fielded to the correct person. My rental income is good and I have always had a stream of tenants wanting to rent it. My monthly statements are always sent through as soon as rent is paid. Why go anywhere else?

Exceptional Support from David

I felt that their evaluation of the market and suggested rental price was more realistic than other agents, which meant that the lettings team secured a tenant for the flat very quickly, and their management fees are very competitive. So far my experiences with the management team looking after my property have been very positive - a direct line to someone who picks up, and communication has been responsive and reliable. It has only been one month of the tenancy, but so far, so good.

I rented with B&S in London for 2 years. Pretty poor experience. Agent was completely uninterested and careless. They tried all sorts of tricks to claim deductions against our deposit (if you don't know your rights you'd probably fall for some of them). Finally, when nothing else worked, they intentionally delayed the entire process as much as they could. I would highly recommend to stay away from this company.

I and my business partner engaged Butler and Stag's Roman Road office to sell 6 new flats we had constructed in Roman Road. I can only describe the service we received as outstanding. Rob Burgess and Oliver Regan worked with us throughout more as partners than agents. There were a number of bumps along the way - new leases, some snagging issues and, most difficult of all, the passing of my business partner during the sales process with all the probate issues that followed. Rob and Oliver responded to all of these with sound advice, sensible guidance, all based on expert knowledge of the local market. Service was exceptional, not just in the normal selling process but by going above and beyond the call of duty, for example topping up electricity metres, ensuring snagging issues were resolved etc. All services and solutions provided in such a professional manner that they became trusted partners. Despite the various complications and lengthy delays caused by probate, they never lost patience with the project and maintained a high level of engagement to the very end. I have no reservations in recommending their services.

Buttler and Stagg is a very professional state agency. They are very reliable, efficient and organised. I was selling my flat via them and the buyer decided to stop the process of the transaction 4 months after we commenced the process, I have had some financial difficulties and its very useful to have a pro-active, efficient team dealing with your property when things are tricky for customers. I had only 5 days to find a good place to rent, trying to find something of good value, that was nice and had outside space and would take pets etc. I was losing heart and resigned to staying in my overpriced and damp flat. But Millie at Butler & Stag came along at the very last minute with a fab place in a great position that suited all my needs and was BETTER. The thing is, Butler & Stag do have better quality properties/homes on their listings as a rule, anyway. They continue to be responsive and friendly as agents (shout out to Millie and Melisha) and I'm really grateful to them for finding me a lovely place to live! Update in October 2023 - I'm still at this property, and the service remains fantastic. Natalie, in the Property Management team, has been so efficient and responsive if I've needed assistance and the contractors they've used have been so friendly and professional. I really appreciate it especially in stark contrast to the building management company I deal with at work. Can't fault the service.
