GoogleI must say that when I first walked in to Brik Estate Agents I thought what a lovely bunch, in particular James Simms. He was most helpful and informative and made my property search a pleasure! His unrivalled knowledge of the surrounding areas was second to none so I did not need to do my own homework. I would always recommend this estate agents if you are looking to move in the Fulham area :)

GoogleReally happy how everything turned out. We had to arrange the move during pandemic, so we could not even see the flat in person. Samia and Nick arranged everything nicely and provided us with videos and photos. When we came to the flat at out check in we found everything exactly like it was on the video, so really happy. For the document exchange they use a web based service, so it's transparent and easy to follow. They are still looking after us even after the move and helping to sort out any questions we may have. I was overseas through the entire process but Samia, my agent at Brik, was quick to respond and patiently answered all my queries. GoogleWe have recently exchanged contracts and I have to say it was a pleasure to work with Alex at Brik. He dealt with situations calmly and honestly which is what we all need at times like this. Added to this the staff at Brik Fulham were always pleasant and professional on the telephone. I would thoroughly recommend Brik to anyone thinking of buying, selling or letting their property.

GoogleThis review is based on the renting of a 1 bed flat in Parsons Green. Our initial agent, showed us the property and was able to answer questions. However he did state that Brik were the managing agent of the property... they are not. So where we thought any problems with the flat they would be able to sort out, we actually have to deal with the landlord. We only found this out after moving in. The office administrator, tried to charge us extra money on our deposit. We paid what they asked for, the amount on the lettings agreement, but she tried to insist that they’re system had calculated it wrong and that we should be paying more. We did not pay it, as the contract is law. We were also sent the wrong inventory. They don't quite understand the irony of us paying a £200 contract fee that’s actually a template and they will not allow any changes too. The argument being, “other people have no problem with it.” In general, I've found them quite rude, lacks customer service skills and are a sloppy business. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Dear Mr Marianne, I’m sorry to hear that you feel the service we provided was not up to standard. We take this very seriously, as great customer service is a key part of our ethos here at Brik. Please see points below in relation to your concerns. I would be happy to meet up to discuss these in further detail if necessary. When we first showed you the property, the owner had indeed instructed us on a Fully Managed basis. However, due to a change in their circumstances they then decided to proceed with our Let & Rent Collection service only. If you do need anything during your tenancy we’ll be more than happy to help liaise between you and your landlord. With regards to the calculation of your deposit, this was a genuine error on the part of one of our service providers (Goodlord). We’ve been in touch to make them aware and can only apologise for this. With regards to the inventory, the incorrect inventory was initially sent over to you. An unfortunate error on our behalf. This was rectified immediately as soon as the error was brought up by yourself. The Tenancy Agreement fee is for drawing up the Tenancy Agreement and as mentioned, we do not change the main body of the text as it’s been drawn up by solicitor. We tried to work with you and add clauses to the customisable section of the agreement, as this is the only part we can amend. I’m sorry if you feel we didn’t do our best in order to come to an agreement on these clauses. This was signed off by you and your partner. Once again I can only apologise for the shortcomings you’ve experienced in renting though us. I look forward to hearing from you if there are any further concerns. GoogleRented for ten years in London and this was the worst tenancy experience I've had. I was made to cry on several occasions by the estate agent and was let a property that was unliveable conditions with a landlord that was incompetent. I also had excessive claims deducted from the deposit which I just won back the entire of with the tenancy deposit scheme thankfully.
Dear Laura, We are disappointed to hear that your 12 month tenancy was not up to your expectations. We were surprised to read the apartment was unliveable, as this building was newly built, and only completed 5 years ago. It is finished to an excellent specification throughout. We were also sorry to hear your relationship with the landlord wasn’t a positive one. Unfortunately, Brik did not manage this property during your tenancy, so we had minimal influence. However, we did try to offer our best advice and support, in relation to the managing agents planned commercial works in the building and your outstanding bills at the end of your tenancy. We hope you have a better experience with your future rentals. - Brik
