Having purchased my new home through Berkeley homes, i wish i'd listened to others about the faults of there poor build quality.As a company, they promise you everything and that the final quality will be to a standard that you won't get elsewhere, however, the final product is far from that.In the first year and subsequent years since (Which Berkeley will do nothing about) we have had:- Flooding- Dodgy plumbing- Floor coming up- Damage to the walls from their repairs- Mould where extractors fans don't work- Incorrect wiring of the house- Switches labelled incorrectly- Rubbish, bricks, tools and glass all in the ground less that 15cm below the grass- Faulty electric boards and incorrectly fitted fuse box- Faulty gas meter- Faulty Hobs, - Gaps in the door seals so things can crawl in

From the initial inquiry to the final paperwork, they ensured everything went smoothly and efficiently.The apartment itself is fantastic, it features modern amenities, a spacious layout, and high-quality finishes. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, and the living area is bright and airy, thanks to large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-designed, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. Additionally, the building offers great facilities such as a gym, a communal garden, secure parking, and the convenience of a 24x7 concierge service.After moving in, I encountered minor issues with a dimmable electrical light switch and a leak with the shower screen. However, these were quickly and efficiently fixed within 24 hours by the Berkeley team, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.Their dedication to providing excellent service made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Poor quality in Hareshill, Fleet. Bought a house in Hareshill by Berkeley Homes. Very disappointed by its poor quality assurance and service. Poor quality assurance:- combi boiler water leakage damaged the 1/F floor and kitchen ceiling. Water dripped to ground floor. - enormous energy bills for an unoccupied property to be borne by home buyer w/o any reasoning even after a formal complaint lodged.- energy meters not smartified and didn’t inform the home buyer. - missing furnishing and items which were described in the home specifications. Poor client service and didn’t offer solutions or compensation. NOT worth the premium to pay. NOT recommended to home buyers.

There were no fire stops or cavity barriers leaving my children in a powerless situation, homeless and lucky to be alive. Yet this company refuse to support the trauma needs caused by their experiences. Do not make the same mistakes and purchase a home from these people.

My wife and I were excited about the prospect of buying our new home at Hareshill in Crookham Village, however the increased interest on mortgages made the sale of my cottage very challenging. We had many views but nobody followed through with an offer for months, although we were mortgage free our potential buyers were not. The customer liaison person at Hareshill acted with great sensitivity to our situation while also balancing a professional approach to targeting BH’s sales. We wish to commend her even though she is no longer with BH.Following our eventual success in completing the purchase on our new BH property we have been delighted by the ongoing support and attention from the on site liaison team, they have been excellent and have on occasion gone beyond what I would expect in terms of support.

Excellent pre-sales but once things started to go wrong they blamed the contractors and never saw anything through to the end. As a result, I now have a cracked worktop which they won’t fix, yellow residue all through my bathroom, am on my third floor, have door handles which don’t match and windows which don’t close. Additionally, the garage door breaks down every couple of months and their design means my windows can’t be cleaned. The most disappointing aspect of all of it is how dismissive they are of problems and their lack of accountability. Would not recommend.

Residents of a high-rise building in London are living in fear due to the dangerous condition of the building's windows. Three windows have already fallen, and strong winds have caused others to malfunction. The building management company has been trying to get Berkeley Homes to help to address this critical safety issue for over three months, but has been met with silence and unhelpful responses.The developer has failed to provide a solution or take any responsibility for the windows, despite the fact that the building is a relatively new development. The current lease agreement puts the unrealistic burden of window maintenance on individual tenants, which is impossible given the building's design and height.The developer is putting the safety of residents at risk with their lack of communication and inaction.

I purchased a home built by the Berkeley Group at the Acer apartments in 2022. We have had issues from the moment they delivered the building. The main entrance door to the building keeps breaking down during the winter. The intercoms have not worked for the entire building in 4 weeks and they have malfunctioned many times before that. We currently have a huge issue with damp rising from the ground in the basement and all the doors they installed in the basement broke shortly after completion. Multiple pipes are leaking. The elevators have been out of service multiple times. Some neighbours have never had their heating work due to poor quality microbore heating systems that simply get stuck. The list goes on. Very disappointed.
