Lost interest once the letting was done

They seemed keen and helpful when they wanted to win the letting from my existing agent. But in retrospect if was just being pushy. When the letting was near completion with the other agent they got an offer and piled a lot of pressure on me to accept their one - multiple calls and emails etc. from different agents on their team. Big let down once I made clear I was sticking to the offer I had already accepted - they refused to return the keys that they could not wait to collect a couple of weeks earlier. The said I could collect them but as I don't even live in the same city and was happy to have them posted this seemed a bit of a turnaround. A shoddy little piece of poor customer service that leaves a bad taste.

Efficient and professional service

I urgently needed to travel for medical treatment and looked at Airbnb options but got in touch with several agencies, including Chesterton. I wasn’t keen on Airbnb as over the last 3 years, you get unexpected cancellations.Juliette understood my requirements quickly and shared specific options unlikely many agents who sent across random properties. We settled on the one that would work for me for 3 months and despite some administrative challenges, Juliette helped get everything done in a few days so I would have a place to stay immediately when in london and commencing my treatment at peace. She also met me on Sunday afternoon to handover the keys and couldn’t be happier with the place.

The five star reviews goes towards Saad Mohamed of the Islington branch who is our point of contact between us and our landlords. He has been efficient, attentive and responsive during his tenure. The same cannot be said for his predecessor, Ryan Briggs, who's inability to resolve anything was a niche only few can cherish. As a result, this caused a breakdown between us and our landlord and almost caused us to leave. However, Saad has completely rescued the relationship and I cannot thank him enough. Thanks, Saad!

My property manager Vanessa (Battersea) has been very attentive, quick to respond to queries and take action on my behalf. There have been a couple of occasions over the last couple of years where things have not moved as quickly as my tenants or I would have liked, but since Vanessa took over it has been smooth. I would also add that some of the fees are a little steep, but I understand that this is the business model.

Avoid Islington Branch at all cost

Avoid Islington Branch at all cost. Completely useless and waste of time. Sales Agent was late to viewing, knew little about property - not even the basic information re SC and GR etc. Been chasing for more than three weeks for other information, but completely ignored. Rang up and was told the branch is very busy. Highly unprofessional. Surprised they have people so incomptent working here.
