Barnard Marcus Feltham - Outstanding Service

We are currently in the process of completing both the sale and purchase of our properties with Barnard Marcus, Feltham, where all the staff that we have had dealings with, in particular James and Evan, have shown us nothing but professionalism throughout the process. They have kept us up to date on both the sale and purchase from the moment we walked through their door and we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely use them again in the future. There may be some negative reviews about the service they provide, however we can honestly say this has not been our experience and people reading these reviews should not be put off by them.

Very poor service from whetstone office. 2 sales that fell through with hardly any communication. I was doing all the chasing up. Manager even asked me to lie to my solicitor in order to satisfy the buyer. Lazy service and unprofessional

Barnard Marcus Tooting- The most unprofessional team of people. Refused to provide a contact number for our landlord when our house was in dangerous condition, mould, rats, broken toilet, broken shower etc… Stated they have nothing to do with the property anymore, however our rent is sent to them directly every month. Manager Marta was very rude and ended the phone on me when I tried to explain that the house is not suitable to live in. Avoid this estate agents.

We had the chance to work with Priscilla and she has been amazing. Very professional, dedicated and responsive. She never missed an email or a call, which was so helpful given how stressful the process can be. We had some issues with the bank but she kept working and pushing until we finally made it! We celebrated together on the phone! I highly recommend Ealing branch, and particularly Priscilla!

I would not recommend anyone to use…

I would not recommend anyone to use them. I bought property through them and I lost of lot of money. Its partly my mistake as I didn't know its possible to sell property without person who sells the property not being the owner of the property. They lied to me that person is in the process of the registration and it will take few months. The true was something else. It took me 11 months to register that property with massive Council Tax bill for empty property as well as heroin squatters being inside for 6 months.Two weeks is very short of period to check all tricks that they use to get you into trouble and unsolvable problems. You have to have very experienced solicitors who can read their selling contract special conditions which are usually on written on 20 pages adding all sort of hidden cost on top of the auction price. I paid 8k plus buyers solicitors fee. Mind you they have their own solicitors company who writes this kind od special conditions and "Clients" who they selling for. As I said if you don't have big experience with Bernard Marcus Auctions sale methods don't bother to go there and bid for the properties as you can make costly mistake regret it big time. There are not good deals there for anyone...

Barnard Marcus of Covent Garden are excellent estate agents. The Branch Manager is Francesca Lewis. I was contacted by them a few months ago and they have now sold my two bedroom flat in Pimlico.The money is now in my bank account gaining interest.My optimistic asking price was £550,000, and Jake Tharp, the Assistant Branch Manager, managed to achieve a respectable £530,000, with property prices in London falling all the time, and a potential general UK financial crisis on its way very soon.They are all good people, professional, proactive, friendly and patient in a stressful activity for us all. I recommend them to everyone.

SERVICE (REPAIRS) Bad customer Service.

We have recently shifted into New Maden property managed by Barnard Marcus. Letting agents were kind and nice.We have a list of repairs & requests within a week of shifting into this new house, which was communicated by email, phone & in person.We were told the handyman was busy & will come last week which of course he never did .Follow up with the in person meeting in Barnard Marcus office in New Malden & was told he will come today on 14th Aug in the morning. I pushed my online (teaching) Yoga Session to the next day, and again we were disappointed. It is very frustrating to chase them and be in waiting line, hoping to hear from them, which never happens.We do not like to rant, unfortunately we are left with no choice but resort to social media. I hope Barnard Marcus could pull up their socks & be more pro active & faster in resolving tenant requests. Alternatively let us interact directly with the owner if you cannot manage their property properly.Thank you Best regardsPam

I had a very poor experience with Morden (Vince and Paul) branch, its so many things. they did not hand me the house key on the contract date because the house failed on the house safety check( Should be dobe before they offer it to rent ), The Main door lock was broken, they promised to change it then I changed it myself 2 months later. I have sent many and many emails asking for the landlord's email address and phone number they do not even reply, I went to the agency, asking if they will send but nothing happens. well what say, if you like to be disappointed they can help with.

What can I say about my experience with Barnard Marcus? Well, I could say terrible - but that would be a fatal untruth! Desperately seeking a 2-bed in west London had been proving to be an aimless task. But then along came this Ealing flat with another agent which seemed like it could be a good fit. It went before we could even view it - a common trope we had been experiencing. Then, something similar popped up (of which I haven't yet worked out if it was the same property or one in the same complex) with Barnard Marcus. We put down an offer thinking that it would be gone if we weren't quick enough. My friend was happy to do this without seeing the place, but I had my reservations, so I was thankful that the agents were eager for us to have a look in person as they thought we were a good fit. We had a look. They spoke to the landlord. The deal was done. How quickly? Almost too quickly...! 😅 It was a thrill and my friend and I were glad to come along for the ride. But there's one glaring omission to this story. The man who helped us along the way. Who were they? Why, the Lettings Branch Manager, of course! And who's that? Why, that would be Anthony Wozniak (MARLA, to include the postnominals...)! I have nothing but good things to say about Anthony - he has been everything you could ever wish for: helpful, patient - and gosh darn quick! It's the start of a wonderful (flat-based) relationship, and I'm sure Anthony will go on to please many more looking for a flat in the Ealing area. Thanks, Anthony, for being there at the start of this new chapter in mine and my friend's story. Oh, and this isn't the last you'll hear from me - you don't know what you've let yourself into...* 😁 *I mean, I'll be a great tenant, I promise!

Tamesha is absolutely wonderful to work with. It’s like having a friend on the “inside” that is working for you. We've rented a flat in Iron Bridge house with her help. She really care about her clients. She kept us apprised about available appointments and always let us know as soon as a new one came on the market. She was honest and forthright- no games. I was in London for 1 day only to find somewhere to live due to work constraints and had viewed 2 properties which weren't great, Shaquille then rang me from Bernard Marcus following an online enquiry I had done that morning and said he could show me round within the hour. My partner and I , were recently searching for a property to rent and Shaquille and Anthony were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Shaquille was friendly , personable and had our best interest at heart. He immediately got what my partner and I were looking for and kept coming up with potential properties that would fit what we needed until he found us the one! (And he got us a cheeky discount on rent while at it!) Anthony was super responsive, easy to contact and also very friendly. We recently completed our first house purchase and have spoken with a number of mortgage advisors in the process, but finally trusted Aysha Ahmad to assist us and this was the best decision ever. As stressful as the whole process is, Aysha took care of the mortgage aspect in a way that we practically didn’t even have to think about it. Everything was taken care of and the only thing we had to do is sign the mortgage agreement. The best thing about working with Aysha, and I cannot stress this enough, is RESPONSIVENESS. Will has been the most amazing estate agent that I could have ever asked for. But I would be lying if I said that that is all he has been. Will has been a chauffeur for many a house viewings, a designer helping me envision the property for myself but most of all a friend through the ups and downs of the house buying process. We worked together for a year before I purchased my dream first home and it’s all thanks to Will. He was there when my first purchase fell through and gave it his all for my second one.
