Imogen is REALLY pushy. As a sales you have to be smart and respectful first, trust me Imo😹 Her work is to push me hard to buy very short leased or very old properties, which stagnated on the market even until now hahah😂 Finally since she didn’t listen or respect my view after her continuous ‘WHY QUESTIONS’ and just simply kept selling, I asked in reply ‘if this property is so popular why don’t you buy it, and why is it on the market for a long time?’ to save my time🎉 She is insane to imagine herself having all the market resources and I must buy from her😅please don’t try to be a sales if you can’t Imo🤭 Luckily I found my ideal house now and wish her back to normal

untrustworthy chancers

We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

I had a pleasant viewing with Hajj. He was incredibly enthusiastic, kind-hearted, and took the time to explain both the property and contract terms in detail multiple times, which I greatly appreciated. As a foreigner, I’ve often found that many agents tend to avoid pronouncing my name and simply use my surname instead. However, Hajj made the effort to ask how to pronounce my name correctly and used it throughout our interaction. This small but thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me. Although I ended up choosing a different property that better suits my current needs, I would be very happy to have Hajj and Barnard Marcus again next time after my new contract end:) Thank you very much Hajj!

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .

We had already been on the market for over a year, and none of the other Estate Agents we had tried would sell the Share rather than 100%, nor had they been successful. I have finally moved out of my flat. I would not recommend getting a property with Ealing Barnard Marcus. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. I have had to chase him about simple issues or questions for days even weeks sometimes. I called him 4 days in a row and each time I was told he’s off sick. One day I stopped outside the office called the office and was told he is still off sick, which was a lie I was literally looking into the office and saw him talking and laughing with his other colleagues. Sara was the only person who would help me on the phone or in person. She was professional and really helpful.

I recently sold my house through Barnard Marcus in South Croydon. The first offer fell through at the eleventh hour, however the team was very helpful in getting us through this first disappointment and in swiftly marketing the property again to find a new buyer within a relatively short time of it being back on the market. Charlotte Williams was our main contact and her professional and empathetic approach to the sale process is to be highly commended. Aside from securing the completion of the sale, she kept us regularly informed of progress and responded swiftly to queries. She worked patiently with us to help us get through the stressful moments that surface from time to time through the process, as well as liaised with all parties such as the solicitors, surveyors and other agents to ensure the sale and purchase chain is completed as smoothly as possible.
