GoogleDarren and Eli were very helpful in bringing about a speedy sale. My flat was only on the market for 10 days before a reasonable offer was made. Darren's candid advise was extremely useful and Eli was great at organising viewings.

GoogleWe can't recommend Eli Mulla at this branch more. He's a top chap with serious know how about the south london, and indeed london wide property market. Eli is warm and honest and made us feel at home. We look forward to working with him as he finds us our first home. Highly recommend.

Terrible service. Lied about my buyer being a first time buyer, he was in fact selling his own property and I accepted a lower price on the basis that it should’ve been a quick sale but 5 months later I don’t have a completion date and my buyer’s buyer threatening to pull out. The conveyancer they recommended (Taylor Rose) are shockingly bad. Slow, do not chase or keep you in the loop at all and either Barnard Marcus or the conveyancer they recommended breached GDPR legislation by passing my email address on to my buyer without my permission. Update: I have now completed and not heard from Barnard Marcus at all since exchanging contracts 2 weeks ago. I ended up contacting the buyer directly on completion day and handing over the keys myself!

GoogleWe've just completed on a flat bought through Modern Method of Auction with Barnard Marcus and would highly recommend them - Darren in particular went above and beyond to help us and the seller through an at times complicated process, and when unexpected challenges presented themselves he was always a source of knowledge and problem solving.

They misled me and continued to show the property without telling me if I needed to offer more. They will sell only if you take the loan from them and use their solicitors etc. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL! this agency should be banned -

GoogleQuite unprofessional agents, though mostly private middle class investors acting as landlords, which makes direct communication with them easy. The Agency is v lenient with its confidentiality obligations, bear this is mind. On average, email replies once offer is made take 14 days. In our case, the agent lied to the landlord, that we are ok with the furniture to stay, and the tenant (me), that the landlord agrees to remove the furniture. Wow

GoogleBe aware when paying a holding deposit! Barnard Marcus have helped me in acquiring a property to rent, we found an excellent place that we put in an offer for, at this point they required a holding deposit to be paid on the 12th of March. The landlord seemed happy to proceed initially but a few days after putting the offer in, the landlord has decided to instead sell the property. We received confirmation of this on the 16th March and confirmation that holding deposit will be paid within 7 working days, although a member of staff indicated it would usually be within a few days. Considering we are back on the market and may require these funds in order to secure another place, these funds should be paid back as a matter of urgency. Its now the 27th March and i still havent received the funds back! Following on from this i have now put in offers on other properties that havent required a holding deposit to be paid before the offer has been accepted. I have emailed and had no response, i have also called and advised the payment has been approved and they would look into this, im yet to have a response. I will be hesitate from using Barnard Marcus in the futureNegativeResponsiveness

Ready to go to court as a result of Barnard Marcus auction where I bid on a property and seller didn't have the right to sell. They don't do due diligence on their sellers so now in a position I've paid £20k deposit with an agreed completion date where the seller can't even complete - thanks Barnard Marcus for doing your due diligence (there is a regulator in your line of biz and will be in touch with them) Liz George

I will never deal with this agent(Barnard Marcus Chiswick)again and advise others to stay away from them. All they care about is taking their commission. If you have problems with your tenants, they are never there to help. They placed a terrible tenant in my flat who left it damaged and neglected the garden, causing complaints from neighbors. Whenever I tried to contact the office, there was no response. When I visited the office, I was told that the manager and staff were in meetings and had to wait for a long time, only to have my issues ignored.

The whole point of an auction is the uncertain gamble of a bargain. I watched today for one hour and only half of the property’s where sold. The winning bidder had apparently not reached the target of what the seller wanted. The place I looked out for had a guide price of £130000.the winning bid of £170000 was apparently not enough, with no mention beforehand of any reserve.when i asked why putting in that case such low guide price i was told it was to encourage Interest.I can see why some people want a minimum price but then have the guts to tell us before.If this way of doing auctions isn’t challenged,in no time the vast majority will be like this?I can see how the auctioneers tell their clients;Put it in the auction,lots of people will look at it.and if you don’t get what you want,then we won’t sell to the bidder.

A cheating and dangerous auction agent. I bought a property in Blackpool in 2019. They advertised the property as a freehold worthed 10,000 at 75-77 Caunce Street, FY1 3NDI did not see legal pack properly and then ended up with the bills including their auctionee fee of 35,000 pounds.The nasty thing of the property I bought turned out a long leasehold 999 years and I have to pay rent, service charge etc and that is very surprising and dangerous .It caused and ruined my financial aspect and life. It took almost 4 years for years to repay the debt.I take them to the property authority but they did not do much. I intended to take them to the Court for misleading the public but have no money to pay legal fee.The authority should shut down this nasty auction agent. After you did so bad and dangerous things, karma will come back to you one day and let karma do all the work.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service she offers. Friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble for her, she really goes out of her way to help. I will certainly recommend her to anyone who wishes to find accommodation.
