They have always been easy to reach on the telephone or email and have been very efficient with help. Alicia and Lauren are especially lovely and is available when you need her. GoogleThe team I’m South Woodford are fantastic, the professionalism and constant updates made me reassured and for once i actually felt cared for by an agent, a gentleman by the name of Itayi was amazing in support having gone through a divorce…eventually I decided to put my search on hold but I will be definitely using their expertise again.

Alicia was in touch regularly to provide updates and contact me if I needed to update or send more paperwork. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process and made my first experience of renting nice and straightforward

GoogleI rented a flat from Hetheringtons with three of my friends. Everything was ok in the beginning but soon I realised that the flat wouldn’t be a place to stay for a long time. They make you sign a contract every year charging you £150 on fees for nothing. The alarm, intercom and door bell never worked. We also had leaks to the restaurant downstairs. When we reported the problem they never repply. I remember walking up on Saturday and finding a engineer in the flat which none of us knew he was coming or even how did he acces the property. There was a rat in the flat coming from the restaurant downstairs, it took them three weeks to bring pest control. They put ridiculous objections to return the deposit like “the floor is scratched”. My advice: avoid agencies.

GoogleAs first time renters Hetheringtons made the journey into our flat very smooth and very very easy. The communication was great and all of the staff that we dealt with were really friendly. They have a user friendly document management system which meant we didn't have to worry about posting, printing or dealing with hundreds of documents. The aftercare given by Hetheringtons is also really good. They made sure we settle in and checked to see how we were doing every now and then. So happy with the service and would advise using them if you are looking to rent in the areas where they have properties that they manage. Our Lettings Negotiator Alicia was really helpful. Alicia Kept us updated with everything and made sure that all of our questions were answered in full. She is really professional and you can tell by the way that she works, that she really cares. So grateful to everyone at Hetheringtons.

GoogleI have arranged to view a property with Scarlett and have to say she was very accommodating at this point. Next day when I placed an offer I learned there was another offer placed 2 weeks ago so I was left waiting of who will be chosen.. From this point communication was very poor and it took a lot of calls from myself to reach anyone in the agency to let me know the outcome. Scarlett stated would call me next day once spoken to landlord unfortunately it never happened. It took me till following day to make an contact with an agency. I think it is highly unprofessional to allow viewing of property when ther was an offer placed already. Overall my experience with hetheringtons branch at Woodford Green was not satisfactory especially due to poor communication and lack of understanding from their side.
Thank you for your feedback Ilona, I have spoken to Scarlett and she informed you there was an offer but this had not been accepted before you viewed. Unfortunately the landlord had the decision and they chose to go with the other offer. This is not something we have control of and we only found this out a few moments before you called on Saturday. We did offer to try and find you something else but I understand you did not wish to view any of our other properties. I wish you luck in finding your new home and apologise you did not feel we had not responded quickly enough.
