Anthony Webb Palmers Green (Tony Ourris in particular) are excellent, highly professional and they are clearly very experienced. We used them for our recent sale involving a long and complex chain. Tony was excellent! He was by far the most experienced and motivated of all the agents involved. He project managed the sale by speaking to those up and down the chain (Tony was very proactive - the other agents were reactive), and he liaised regularly with us all while being personable and efficient.We would happily recommend Anthony Webb Palmers Green for their overall professionalism, and the fact that they were realistic at every stage. Highly recommend. We recently bought through Anthony Webb in what was, according to most of the professionals involved, the worst ever chain. Tony at Anthony Webb was a huge help throughout - communicative, fair, proactive, and it felt, to us at least, he was genuinely interested in helping the people in the chain get the houses they wanted. Of course he wanted the sale to happen too! And that wasn’t hidden, but there was more than that. Not just a positive experience - Tony was literally a life saver.

I recently contacted this agency regarding a property advertised on their website: a two-bedroom flat on Lodge Drive, Palmers Green, London, N13. The advert described a newly decorated first-floor flat in an Edwardian conversion, ideally located near shops, transport links, and with an optional garage rental. Nowhere in the description was there any mention of specific restrictions on who the property was suitable for. After expressing interest, I was asked a series of personal questions: who would be moving in, how we’re related, our combined income, when we plan to move, etc. I responded openly and provided all the requested details, that we are three related working adults (a couple and a brother) looking to rent the property together. Only after disclosing this information was I told that the flat is only suitable for a couple with a baby. This raises a serious concern: why was this restriction not clearly stated in the original advert? It would have saved time and protected our privacy had this been disclosed from the start. The process felt misleading, as though the advert was being used to collect personal information under false pretenses. In my opinion, this is not just unprofessional but also unfair to prospective tenants. If the property is only for certain types of occupants (e.g. a couple with a child), that should be explicitly mentioned in the advert. Clear, honest advertising and respectful treatment of applicants are the basics one should expect from a reputable estate agency. Sadly, that was not my experience here.
