GoogleI wanted to let a couple of my properties and was looking for a good reputable agent in and around the N13 area, I rang a lot of so called estate agents, but found them either not too professional or just not to bothered with my business.I then found Anthony Webb - after reading their reviews on Google, I have to say that they are exactly what people have written, i initially spoke with Tony who explained the service and cost and subsequently passed over to his team, I have to say I was kept well informed about viewings and the status of offers.
The brochure they produced was excellent and they were just really nice people to deal with, well done Anthony Webb 👏.
In the end they found me a good tenant, what else could I ask for.

GoogleWe had a great experience dealing with Claudia and the team at Anthony Webb as the Estate Agents throughout our journey of purchasing our first home. From the start, viewings were super easy and stress free, no feeling of pressure at all.
Claudia and the team regularly checked in to make sure things were moving along. We had a few IT/technical issues between our solicitors and the seller's solicitors emails not going through but once we knew about the issues, Claudia was on top of it and made sure each side received communications to prevent further delays. We managed to complete just in time for the September Stamp Duty holiday deadline (no financial benefit to us as first time buyers, but I'm happy that we were able to help the seller make a saving.) Martin is the only person with manners at this company and was a pleasure. Everybody else such as James and the others not worth mentioning are inexperienced rude petty and completely neglectful.
My son now suffers from a medical condition he will live with for a lifetime due to the damp in the house I rented from there, after numerous emails and Enfield council cracking down on them after the floor fell through they decided to avoid risk and have now sold the house which suffers from extreme damp and theres a leaking pipe underneath it too so the floor will collapse again, avoid 166 haselbury

It is unfortunate that you experienced a number of issues throughout your 7 year rental period. As the management agent we addressed each issue as quickly as we could, communicating between yourself and the landlord. We dispute that Enfield council 'cracked down' on us as, following a surveyors report, the mould found in the property was caused by lack of ventilation which needed to be managed by the tenant. During your time in the property it appears its condition deteriorated despite our best efforts, the issue with the floor was also addressed before it 'fell through'. GoogleLike most Estate Agents in Palmers Green Anthony Webb Estate Agents struggle to sell houses in Palmers Green N13 and seem to depend financially on managing flats only. Palmers Green is still one of those lovely yet unappreciated residential areas that needs far more promoting by Estate Agents in the area as it has so much to offer both to residents and potential shop traders and potential house buyers.
When Palmers Green is compared to many other areas of London Palmers Green come out the winner with its lovely layout, and other offerings such as the attractive Palmers Green library/community centre with a downstairs Gym, 1930s style Broomfield Park, a Railway station which trains travel straight to the city of Moorgate, good bus routes, a huge selection of food stores far more then any other area in London, coffee shops, restaurants, excellent access to other destinations, plenty of listed buildings dotted around that people love so much, a selection of beautiful churches that could also be used for classical music on certain days and evenings, outstanding schools as well as school nurseries. Plus, Palmers Green is not run down and dirty like many other London areas and neither is it a boring residential area, yet still very very affordable in-comparison to other areas less appealing without such lovely large Edwardian Houses.
What more do people want from a London residential location? People are searching in other areas outside London and wasting money on fare and long travels. Palmers Green needs to become far more popular for families to live and enjoy the area and indeed with easy access into central London with all that London has to offer to enrich peoples lives.
So, why do estate agents like Anthony Webb not get in touch with the Evening Standard that loves to promote London locations and beyond to popularise Palmers Green for families, because that is what Palmers Green needs, good families to help benefit the area and our communities in London.
The Two Stars that I had given was because an Estate Agent in an area of many estate agents needs to really stand out and be a huge force of real good in the area that it is fortunate to trade, sorry the Anthony Webb magazine does nothing to help promote Palmers Green identity to those outside the area, with a better promotion and some good ideas such as our good charity shops in the area should be encouraged to be under one large organise roof in the area to help free up more little stores for a variety of much needed traders to open shop and make Palmers Green a fashionable area to trade which will help the area prosper.

You took the time to detail the advantages of living in Palmers Green which we wholeheartedly agree with. We like to think that our magazine and social media channels do in fact promote the local area. We get many compliments regarding our magazine and our involvement in the community. Our director also volunteers on the business association in an effort to improve our high street.
It's a shame that you feel it is appropriate to criticise local independent businesses that are already struggling in the current economic climate with a negative review on Google if you claim to want to see the area prosper.

GoogleAbsolutely horrible agents all the care about is their fees. We viewed a property and spoke with the Landlord ourselves as she agent was late to the viewing, we had a long conversation and exchanged numbers and we made an offer based on what other properties on the same street have been sold for and she agreed. We kept in contact and she told us that the agent advised her against it because it's too low even though it was agreed with the Landlord! Obviously they are trying to just get the highest fee possible. The property needs a ton of work and they are overvaluing the properties to make Landlords go to them. Honestly don't bother viewing properties through them they don't care about their customer and potential buyers !!!

TrustpilotWe have lived in the 3 bedroom house…
We have lived in the 3 bedroom house for 8 years, we have taken great care of it, decorating, fixing everything necessary with the owner's agreement, without the agency causing any trouble. But when we left the house after it was inspected, first we had to beg for the return of the deposit, which at first the agency did not want to return, then they came with the excuse that when we were decorating the house a bubble appeared in the wall under the wallpaper, they stole £640 from us for that and half of deposit was back to us after 4 weeks nearly.This agency are scammers, we are not going to leave it like this, as we will take serious decisions against them, we will even go to court if necessary. I do not recommend this agency to anyone because it has too many conditions in its way to be able to steal from the tenants

We understand your concerns and would like to clarify that the agreement regarding the redecoration of the property was made directly between the landlord and yourself. It was agreed that you would redecorate the property upon exit. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not meet the landlord’s standards, and as a result, a deduction was necessary to address the outstanding issues.
It’s a shame that after renting and using our services for 8 years, you now feel this way. We strive to ensure fair and transparent processes for all parties involved, and we regret that this situation has caused dissatisfaction.
