GoogleWe had a terrible experience with this Estate Agents, specifically Max Smith. He made every step of purchasing a property very stressful and difficult. He very rarely responded to emails, we had to call him to request a written response - something he clearly did not want to provide to us unless it was a threat. He constantly threatened to place the property back on the market and also informed the seller's that he had a cash buyer readily available, although we were close to completion. He consistently made unnecessary promises to get everything resolved instantly, although legally that was not possible at the time. Without prompting, he offered us a free damp report that would be sent within a week, this was requested multiple times and after 4 months it was not received. He was a rude person and made the long ordeal much worse. We would not recommend using this business and definitely avoiding Max Smith. We would not want anyone to experience what we had to go through

GoogleGreat service and experience from start to finish with Richard, Luke and the whole team at Acorn Catford, and a special shout out to Arikson Franco who was fantastic throughout the whole conveyancing process. Thanks Franco! I also chose Acorn at Catford as I remember them from when I was buying in the area - they were the agents that stood out in terms of local knowledge and straight talk. Like many vendors these days, I looked into the option of online estate agents but think it's a false economy compared with good high street agents like this Acorn branch - also when you factor in the number of viewings and interest they generate. Thanks again guys.

GoogleWe had a great experience buying through Acorn in Catford and in particular Franco who was the agent on our purchase. He was regularly in contact and responded quickly to any queries we had. He was particularly brilliant right near our exchange when we had lots of trouble (not with our seller but further up the chain). We were in contact 4 or 5 times daily and got regular updates and he liaised with solicitors and other agents to push things forward on our and our seller's behalf. He went above and beyond and I think helped to ensure our chain did not fall apart!

GoogleI have been selling my house for a year it's been a long road but finally with the help of Arikson Franco we have got it sold. He has been very helpful and always got back to me with any questions I've had. At the last hurdle the buyers solicitors were dragging their feet and Franco chased them every day til the contracts were exchanged so I would definitely recommend them. Clear concise communication was given throughout the selling process. The professionalism and communication of the Acorn Team in Catford was second to none.No job was too small, assistance and help was on hand every step of the way. I would recommend the Catford Team and have done so to family and friends intending to sell or buy property since selling my property .

GoogleThe best agents we have ever dealt with! We were buying a property which was on the market with Acorn and Franco (works at Catford branch) was so helpful. Right from the first viewing through to completion Franco answered all of our questions...we had many! He always got back to us quickly when we emailed or left a telephone message. We have always had bad experiences with other agents but not this time thanks to Franco! We will definitely be using Acorn next time!

GoogleSold two properties through Acorn Catford and have always found the selling process to be well managed and consistent from start to finish. Valuations were accurate and realistic rather than over inflated, viewings were always conducted with adequate notice and respect to the properties and any offers that were put forward to me were backed up with sufficient checks that the buyers were able to buy. All in all I have been very happy the experience I have had with Acorn Catford and would not hesitate to recommend them as my agent of choice.

He communicated everything the whole way through and was able to sell the house within 3 months. Great effort from Richard and the team

GoogleWe purchased a house through the Catford branch very recently with Franco (Arikson) and he has been so helpful, always responsive and on the case! It has been a very difficult and very long chain through no fault of Acorn's. It would have been extremely painful had Franco not been so helpful, honest and proactive in making sure all the different people were on the same page. Thanks Franco!!!

GoogleIt was a pleasure going through the process the Acorn agent Vincent, he was really helpful and friendly when showing us around the flat. He responded to our questions quickly, really sold us the area and was just a really nice person to deal with. *Update - The process of getting the flat had some slow periods mainly due to the landlord, but we were able to negotiate the rent via Acorn and ended up getting a great new home.
