A good decision

I have been happily settled in my new Anwyl home for almost two months now and I love it!The house is finished to a high specification and the thoughtful layout makes for very comfortable living.Gyllian and Lauren in the Sales Office could not have been more supportive making what might have been a stressful experience run smoothly, ironing out any hitches on my behalf along the way. My purchase was completed in a record nine weeks using the Panel Solicitor who also offered a speedy, personal and very efficient service.Isaac, Site Manager, and his Site Team have been on hand since I moved in to work through the snagging list and, without exception, each person has been courteous, good humoured and willing to help with the detail. A good purchase decision! Thank you, Anwyl!

Well yet again Anwyl customer service is excellent! 5*Sending Richard Nelson over to us.We needed our skirting boards on our stairs repainted after having some work done by Lee Ashworth also deserves a 5*, who did a super job filling in and making good the skirting boards ready for painting.Richard arrived bang on time, unfortunately I wasn’t quite ready to let him in, so saying wasn’t a problem and he patiently waited for me to get sorted 😊So once again may I say customer service, work ethic,And the finished job absolutely no complaints with it,Perfect 👍 5*

It’s very difficult to get hold of…

It’s very difficult to get hold of people now as you have to use an online form! with the online form reporting issues with the property means the timeframe for replies is quite slow and then if you need to respond to something again you can wait days for a responseHowever today Lee Reynolds cameTo resolve one of the problems arrived on time was very friendly and resolved the problem and the door is now working perfectly he was very clean and tidy and explained everything he had done

We recently moved in to our new Anwyl home on the crossfields estate in Catterall 6 weeks ago We love it, the home and the whole experience made better by the site manager Ian .The very few snags we found with our property, Ian dealt with, in some cases he dealt with the snags personally in a speedy manner .. Ian should be the platform for all Anwyl site managers, he’s made our experience comforting and welcoming Well done Anwyl, love the house And well done Ian !

My son and girlfriend purchased a beautiful home from Anwyl. Like any new build there was a snagging list.With both of them working full time it was hard to get the jobs done. Myself living an hour away offered to house sit whilst the jobs were carried out. I first spoke to a lady called Sophie Finlay who was very proffesional and worked with me totally to arrange a date and understood totally the fact I had to travel so I needed a Definite time and date . The guys Sophie appointed was Richard Nelson and Lee Reynolds. These guys were very professional with shoe protection/ the way they worked in someone’s home . I explained that my husband also worked on site and having a new build myself many years ago , I can clearly see why this company produces stunning , very well made houses with a fantastic work force. I purchased my house from Anywl in Holmes Chapel

I purchased my house from Anywl in December 2022, I downsized but I was extremely surprised how spacious the house (Epsom) is and the quality of the build is excellent. Having purchased a new build in the past from a different builder, I was fully aware that there was going to be a snagging list (it would be naive to buy a new build and not to expect a few snags) but site manager Mark, Isaac and their team have been very engaging in rectifying any minor issues, Mark should take particular credit for taking on his extra daily role of collection of stray debris which has occasionally blown around the site, this impresses me because it proves he is committed to ensuring the simplest annoyances are avoided. From my very first meeting with the Sales team (all of whom have been really lovely and very professional) to the end result, my beautiful new Epsom home, I can honestly say that Anwyl have been a pleasure to do business with, very professional, they run a tight ship in so far as the installers on site and everyone is respectful and completely engaging in delivering a professional service. I would definitely buy a Anwyl home should I need to move again in the future but right now I am loving my new build home in Holmes Chapel.

Lacking attention to detail and care

First of all, it’s worth mentioning that most of these reviews seem to be of the technicians and not the company/homes themselves. We recently moved in to our new home in December and unfortunately their lack of attention to detail and care really shows.Initially from the outside of our house, it hadn’t been cleaned, there were several bricks chipped, the render is falling off in several places, the grass is all up and down.From the inside, things weren’t painted properly, there was piles of dust underneath the kitchen units (including batteries, screws and all sorts), the front door doesn’t sit right, the patio door has obviously taken some sort of impact, and the plastering is shocking in some places.I completely understand that problems are going to come up with any build but unfortunately Anwyl seem to take the type of approach of “let’s get it sold and worry about the quality after” and they don’t seem to care that you have problems at all.It’s disappointing that we’ve had this experience from a company that’s meant to be building “thoughtful homes”.UPDATE JUNE 2023:So we've now been told that the dead plants they planted before completion are the "owner's responsibility". This is around 100 plants that were planted less than 6 months ago. Anwyl is constantly full of excuses.

Please be careful when buying from this companythe whole experience has been a nightmare and I deeply regret buying from AnwylAfter many battles trying to get the snag lists completed I have been left with floors that are sloping in several roomsa wall between the lounge and hall shakes every time any downstairs door or window closesthe lounge ceiling has a three inch line across which they were supposed to have put rightall the gardens are on a slope so it means employing a landscaper to do anythingthe kitchen floor was left in such a poor state I couldnt have any floor covering down until I had it screededI had a leaking roof because a pipe hadnt been connected to a vent and they refused to change the wet insulationwrong tiles put in the cloakroomtiles needed replacing in en-suite7 tiles in the bathroom were from a completely different range - so had to be changedall the walls are badly plastered and will have to be eventually re plasteredlump of concrete left under the grass in front garden which they reckon was from positioning a post wrongly, even though it was 4/5ft from where it should have beenpipe rim left sticking out of the cloakroom floor an inch above floor levelmany many more issues too numerous to listthe company just don't care, they have to be the worst I have ever dealt withthey attempt to rectify the smaller issues but dont care about the serious issues and refuse to fixeven the directors don't helpHaven't found things on site to be completely honestthey promise to look after you before purchase and then you don't see them againThe experience has been so upsetting, no one cares about you are just fobbed offthe service is shockingI wouldn't like anyone else to go through thisRegarding the reply from AnwylThe issues are far from resolvedIf refusing to fix issues is Anywl s way of resolving them it certainly isnt mineAnd I suspect that if we ask the other residents at Mill Green about their experience's they've some horror storiesIt's a total joke and completely unacceptable they are a shocking company and the way they treat homeowners is criminalMoney is all they care about

Excellent Technician

Lee Reynolds originally came to look at our shower base back in March and he was polite and gave us confidence that he really knew what he was doing and cared, so much so we hoped it would be him completing the work. He even identified an issue in the loft which we didn't know we had. We were delighted when he turned up this week to do both jobs and we are not disappointed. He arrived on time both mornings and quietly got on with the job. He really cared about his work and was considerate to our home leaving absolutely no mess whatsoever. Thank you!
