GoogleVery disappointing customer service - put an offer in on a house we really wanted and Edwards and Co didn't follow it up, or have the courtesy to call us back when the property had been sold to another buyer.

I did fully investigate your complaint and as previously explained, the vendor (who we act for) instructed us to go with another buyer and yes we did fail to contact you immedediately to let you know - this is something that was addressed and dealt with internally and I am sorry that it caused you distress at the time. GoogleSent email “Final Offer Accepted” only to leave the property on the market and inform me of a higher offer a week later. Costing me legal fees and wasting my time. These cowboys are at it.

Thank you for your review. However we do not work for the buyer we work for the Vendor and as such (and by Law) if a higher offer comes in - even after offer accepted - we are duty bound to put it forward. This is the case in Wales up until the day of Exchange. Whist it does not sit comfortably with us,and we always advise the vendor to stay with the original offer - ultimately it is not our decision to make. You were also given the opportunity to increase your offer which you declined. I wish you well and hope that you did find the home of your dreams.
