I'm really shocked to see so many good reviews. I personally have had a really bad experience with Move Residential and can only report the facts of my own experience. I am deeply regretting using this company to sell my late fathers house. I have consistently had to chase the agent based at Allerton Road for any form of update. I did not get feedback after viewings unless I eventually called to ask. Even when a potential buyer was eventually found I received no update on the situation unless I chased the agent. I only found out by chasing them that one month on from the verbally agreed sale the buyer had still not instructed a solicitor and wished to "view the property" again. Every time I spoke to the agent concerned I was given the same line "I assure you I have been on to the buyer". In the end I was given conflicting stories by different agents. I eventually just called in and retrieved the keys and decided to go back to square one somewhere else. I deeply regret using this company. Who knows how much money I have lost as a result of changes in the market over the time period the house has been on sale. My personal feeling is that they have not done the work I had trusted them to do. I can't understand all of the great reviews seen on here. I can only speak as I have found though. Glad that not everyone has had such a bad experience. Very very disappointed and now worried ahead of my next experience with a rival estate agent.
Dear Roger, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. When you put the property on the market with Move Residential towards the back end of 2022, the market had just began to change from what we'd seen earlier in the year and in 2021 when it was extremely buoyant. As a result, we had limited interest in your property. To say you had no feedback from viewings isn't entirely accurate, in the 3 viewings that actual took place, you received feedback on one, one didn't get back to us having chased and the third one offered. In terms of the person who offered on your property, this person was fully financially qualified by one of our in-house mortgage advisors so we knew that he could afford to proceed with the purchase of your property. This is something we can control and manage, but what we cannot control is whether or not a buyer starts to mess around and not act upon their initial offer. I appreciate that this is frustrating because it is also for us - we do not get paid unless the property exchanges and completes so it's in our interests to chase this up regularly for you as well. With that in mind, I have seen sight of several email trails between yourself and Callum, whereby he has kept you posted over the last few weeks. I have also seen sight of an extremely long WhatsApp trail between Callum and your buyer over the last few weeks with him chasing him for some movement on his prospective purchase of your property, I am sorry that you feel like this, but we cannot control the actions of a buyer. What we can do is chase them, which we have done, and keep you informed, which we have also done, so your account is not accurate in my opinion, Roger. [UPDATE] Further to the response from Move Residential. It tells you a lot when the company who screwed up just denies it and calls you a liar, rather than tries to put it right. Well Move Residential if I'm lying and you're as innocent as you claim to be you should sue me for defamation and force me to take this review down, you have my details. I dare you! We still have the all the evidence. I double dare you!!I guess the very presence of this review demonstrates the invalidity of your response.==========================================Awful. Staff at the Allerton Road lettings branch ‘managed’ our property for a year they failed to give the tenants notice when they should have done. Took 9 months to do work they were instructed to do, and the work once done was illegal because it was not done to building regulations. Then they refused to put it right. Raised it with the manager and the company directors and they lied and said they did nothing wrong. Definitely a cautionary tale for anyone letting a property from them or through them.

The team also signed off works with contractors as soon as we were instructed to do so. There were manufacturer delays due to many factories being closed during the initial lockdown, with the original company arranged to complete works sadly closing due to the pandemic; this was of course beyond our control; however, our team kept your partner and the tenants updated throughout the process and alternative quotes were arranged. The company used to complete the work you have referred to provided, a full quote along with their company details to your partner prior to starting any works. They are regarded as a highly reputable established company which have been trading for many years who have completed countless jobs to a high standard with customer satisfaction. They have provided a 10-year guarantee in writing for the works completed at your property and there is no reason to believe that the work does not comply with building regulations as you have suggested. Our lettings manager has been in touch with a detailed response to your correspondence. Excellent company putting honesty and communication at the forefront of what they do. We were initially in contact with Liam who was very understanding with regards to what sort of property we were after and helped us along the way of ensuring we had the correct documents in readiness so that our offer could be accepted. After securing this, we were passed onto Rachel who has been brilliant with updating us along with progress being made and informing us of the next steps. She understood our eagerness to be moved in as soon as possible and was able to assist with this. Overall, Move residential have been great and would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home, thanks guys!

I contacted move residential to let my house and next day a young Ethan came out to take some pictures of the house. He was very friendly and confident. Very quickly he explained the process and went on with taking the pictures. Following day the house was put on the market. Within 2 days he arranged 2 viewings. He even came to my house to collect house keys on his day off. Very happy with the service. Excellent service.

Our house sold fast so we didn’t need additional support in selling but the assistance of getting the chain over the line and completing was brilliant. I would recommend both Liam and Antony.
